YourBigDaddy1967 -> Sci Fi book thread (5/5/2014 3:23:08 PM)

I have to wait until the 17th for the next Iron Druid (Shattered), The 27 for the next Dresden Files (Skin Game) and all the way until July the 7th for the next Monster Hunters International (Monster Hunter Nemesis) and there is no release date this year for the next Deacon Chalk Occult Bounty Hunter.

What am I going to do!!

While you are waiting check out EE Doc Smith's Lensmen series... Very old but what a good series...just as good as Butcher's Codex Alera series.

Some are free if you have an Amazon account.

Stop luring me to reading new books! I barely got enough time to read the ones I get from the library...

Eric Flint. Start with "1632". Lots of fun to read!

In Conquest Born, C.S. Friedman. It's an older novel, but I fell into it hard. I wish I hadn't lost my copy, but it was pretty worn-out by then.
