Sexyladydee -> Condoleezza Rice Uninvited by Rutgers University (5/6/2014 10:04:15 AM)

Since an institution of higher learning should be the most open to an exchange of ideas why would they invite, then uninvite a former Secretary of State, to the United States, to speak at their commencement exercises? Most of those currently graduating were teens and pre-teens when she served from 2005-2009. No one knew what she was going to share or her take on the war that brought her and the administration she served under down in the eyes of most of America. Why do you think they snubbed her? Was it racism, sexism, politics or a combination?

I'm not selfish, just stubborn and usually right!

She wasn't uninvited, students protested because of her involvement in the Bush administration, and she withdrew.
They did uninvite Eric LeGrand for Tom Kean.

ETA- I don't even think they snubbed Eric LeGrand- I think he didn't formally accept in time and they had to find another choice.
I think they reasons they protested Rice was because of her involvement in a war that those students disagreed with.
