I've never been to a munch ever but I really like the thought of it and wanna go to one. Where can I find some popular munches close to me (London, UK)? I don't even know the first place to start looking. Are there any that are specifically for daddy/babygirl relationships? Or are they just generally dom/sub meet ups? Do the females usually go alone or with friends?

I love older guys but I'm kinda shy and a bit quiet at first, but I reeeally wanna talk to some older men and have the possibility of them actually thinking about me in a sexual way for once and maybe finding someone that keeps talking to me and isn't put off by my awkwardness and shyness.. Gah please help, I wanna talk to some kinky older men in real life!:(

fetlife and google. In both cases enter your city. In google enter your city and the phrase 'BDSM Munches'. you will get some porn hits, but you will find a munch. I understand there is an active scene in London. Probably even a TNG group, which is specifically for younger people. there's nothing wrong with wanting to meet an older Dom, but going to a TNG could be a great place to meet subs you have something in common with, as well.

Through subbie friends you might meet the right guy. There are only a limited number of Doms who will be perfect for you, the more subbie friends you have, the more active you are in the local scene, the more likely you are to be introduced to him. give it a try. But, certainly, go to the general munches as well, and if you find a local age play group, that, too. just have fun. the right guy will come along when you are truly ready.

Oh great. Now my mind can't stop imagining being introduced to a sub and her daddy and how her daddy can't stop stealing glances of me and touching me when she's not looking.

Are there introductions at munches or do you have to go around to individuals like an awkward blob saying "hi... I'm estafania"?

Whoah!

Going to munches isn't just about meeting people. You end up learning stuff and maybe even making friends you can talk to, too. What if your expectations are unrealistic? What if the guy you meet is right out of that Liar song and you just aren't seeing it? Do you know someone who can be a good sounding board?

And frankly... if you keep trolling collarme, etc, you're likely to run into Roaming-Eye Daddy anyway. At least at a munch you have a better chance of seeing him for what he is.

But hey, it's not for everyone. You can find reasons not to go if you like.

It depends on the munch. Some even have munch buddies - long time members who volunteer to be a munch buddy, who will be assigned to you to meet you and introduce you to eople and generally make you feel comfortable. These will generally be someone the same gender and orientation as you, as a rule.

BTW, if someone touches you without your consent, or without the consent of other partners in their life (having to sneak when they are not looking, for instance) get away fast.

You live in London, UK, there should be a thriving kink community there. I would recommend googling BDSM + London, UK or something like that. AND, this is a really good place to go look, Fetlife. Once you make a profile & get on the site(very easy!), go to the Events link at the top of the page & use the scroll down menu to click on Near Me. That will take you to all the BDSMy and kinky goings on in your area. Fetlife is also a free site, so it won't cost you a thing to go look.

I've kinda got this idea in my head that most people that go to munches are full of tattoos dressed in leather and look really scary. I guess I just wanna have a peak in to set myself right, even if I just take a glance at the people then run home lol

I didn't know most guys were smart enough to lie and not get found out before the girl fell for them. I can usually see right through people!

I probably won't go anyway just super duper curious.

There probably is an amazing bdsm community in London but I just don't know about it lol. I'm not interested in extreme bdsm to be honest just ddlg. I like fetlife, it's good and all but all the meets are in the evening in a bar and that's not really my thing. I'd rather a ageplay daytime meetup but there's none of that in London :(

do you belong to any age play groups on fet? are any of them location based? if you became active in a london age play group, (even if you had to start one), you might find (or could suggest) outings for littles, or outings for littles and bigs together. in the mean time, you could be getting to know some girls who are like you, and making like minded friends.

Ok as a person who has only recently started going to munches and granted this is in the good ol USA corn belt Iowa i can tell you that yes it can be scary going to a munch but NOT because of the people there. I have met some really nice people ones that i would love to have call me friend even if we did not have the kink community in common.
The scary part is actually getting up off your behind and going to a munch in the first place, Face it sitting behind that monitor is safe and you do not have to worry about the "Daddy with the roaming eyes". But then you really don't have to worry at a munch either. Most groups out there that hold munches will not tolerate that type of behavior once it is brought into the light and those that do you want to avoid anyway.
The absolute best advice i have ever gotten regarding kink is this: Get out there and meet people because unless all you are looking for is an online relationship you won't find it online!

LOL. I was the same way!

My first munch... it was in the basement of a bar. I was expecting hi-top tables of people hunched over pitchers of beer in a corner of a black bar. Instead, it was an office-bright conference room with the tables arranged in a "U" shape with waiters in white shirts serving at least 50 people! A moderator called the meeting to order and after intros around the room and announcements, they had a moderated discussion on a particular topic. Mind blown.

My second munch? It was shortly before Christmas and the group had adopted a family through the Salvation Army (who had no idea we were a kink group). We spent the munch wrapping presents!!!

Another munch I've been to is just a friendly get-together.

Another meets in a park; you bring potluck food and just chill.

Another one had an announcer who openly made light of a member they had some drama with, and only one person was friendly enough to introduce himself and talk. That one I'm not keen on, obviously, and I'm only mentioning it to say that it's not all roses... if there's a group you don't like, you're lucky enough to live in city where there are probably other groups!
