Status: offline 		Is it possible to block a specific user from being able to see your profile? I don't want it to hidden from every one and I know I can block users from messaging me. But I just don't want a specific user to be able to see my profile at all.

Status: offline 		The answer is "no." If they know your nic, they can pull up your profile on the CM site even without being logged in, (as can everyone else in the world.)

What I'm curious to know, Kali and Spirited, is why would you care whether somebody is viewing your profile or not? Is it because it annoys you to see their profile pic display on your Viewing list, which you can simply delete?
Or does it bother you that you are being perved? That goes with the territory of having an unhidden profile. You're letting this person get under your skin, which is giving your power away. Take your power back and shrug it off.

Now, what annoys me are these Admirers. Unless and until they remove you from their Favorites, you're stuck with their distasteful pics. (I don't mean obscene, because that's reportable.)

Status: offline 		It's just a personality quirk of mine, related to a desire for privacy. I am a very private person so some aspects of participating on a site like this abrade for me. I like to write a little in my journal as it's a way for people to get to know me some, particularly people who do not come to the forums, but I would like to shield that from certain people.

There are some really impaired and troubled people on the other side. It does get under my skin to be exposed to people I would avoid in "real life" but can't here; it's a price we pay that may or may not be worth paying.

Speaking of paying, I would gladly pay a membership fee here for additional features like the hypothetical one we're talking about.

It was a perving issue. A sub I chatted with for a few weeks was supposed to meet me in real life and last minute backed out giving, what seemed to be, a reasonal excuse. He then backed out of the second meeting last minute and I realized he was completely full of shit. He is weirdly obsessed with my profile picture of my boots is still getting off looking at it. That and the fact that he lied to me and is still "enjoying" my photos is bothersome to me. I know it's not a huge deal and probably comes w the territory but it gets under my skin.

If the tab is lighting and no one is there, chances are it is someone like me, whose profile is hidden (in my case, voluntarily so).

Well, what i meant was i dont want people who arent on this site veiwing my profile, especially family. If one is on this site already and calls me perverted...well. kettle said to the pot.
