It is my understanding that i do not get to call Dommes any title until i have "earned" it? And from what i am reading Ma'ma means you are old? This is news to me, has always been a respect thing.
For the most part it seems many dommes don't like titles unless there is already an arrangement between you two - or as you say, you've earned it. There are exceptions and normally the dommes who prefer it would mention something like that in their profile. Personally, I don't like titles at all. The ones who do prefer titles and don't say so, or assume that you'll do it anyway simply for being submissive are the ones you'll probably want to avoid, as that kind of behavior is only the tip of the iceberg.

Read her profile, and have your initial message a) start a (preferably non-kinky) conversation and b) reference something in the profile that lets her know you read it. I will always respond to a message that looks like the sender has sincere interest in getting to know ME, rather than messaging every woman until one bites.
Keep in mind that this not a guarantee that every woman you message will respond, but I can all but guarantee that you will have more success than the average Joe Subbie.
