I'm not sure where this goes actually, and since I lurk around here the most, I thought I'd just post it here.

I just redid my profile because I wanted to include ~something. I'm always bad at this kind of thing, but I wanted to maybe weed out some of the undesirables. Because god knows I get a ton of those. Does it seem too demanding or random or unimportant? I did leave out anything kinky (as you'll read) because I'm not particularly fond of the messages I get when I include that kind of thing. Anyway, I guess I'll stop rambling and let you guys read my profile.

I took a peek at your profile, and it seems pretty well balanced. About the only question mark I see is the 'seeking roommates' you have listed. You may wish to specify what kind of room mate you're seeking, boundaries, things like that, otherwise you may be sought out for the wrong reasons. Otherwise, it's pretty to the point as to where you are and where you'd like to go.

Unfortunately, the shotgun-spammers don't bother reading your elegantly-crafted profile essay. They limit themselves to gender, age, and when you joined up, and will bomb you inbox in a desperate attempt to get anything they can. Sorry, but that's just how it goes on the other side. On the plus side, you'll have plenty of amusing posts for the 'Strange Messages From The Other Side' thread, so there's that.

Seems balanced to me too. Generally, I advise against posting the negatives, as it weeds out the good ones and will be ignored by the bad ones -- better to keep the focus on the positive.

But you've done it in a balanced way, and as long as you get that your warning message is going to keep guys away, and that's your intent right now apparently, it works.

If you truly want friends, you'll have to do the reaching out. You're unlikely to be approached.

Thanks! Yeah I've been lurking around here a little bit recently, but I haven't had the guts to really jump in to the discussions yet.

I guess I need to clarify that on my profile when I get a chance but the roommates thing is just that I'm wanting to move closer to school, and I've always lived with someone. I'm not too keen on livin on my own. Buut maybe that could be straight up removed. Might make things easier.

I appreciate you guy's feedback though! Yeah I know my profile can be off putting a bit but I have no desire to jump into anything with someone I don't know very well.

its your profile honey, put on it what you wish... no matter what you put on there the undesirables are still going to respond because they don't read profiles.... I haven't looked at your profile yet but im sure its fine...
