I have been thinking about this for a while so i decided to see what others think about it. It is kind of a strange question, bit decided to ask it anyway. Ok here goes.

I don't like things tight around my neck not even turtlenecks i fell like i am choking. About the only thins i can handle arounf my neck is Masters hands. Master was going to get me a choker type collar, i said Master i can't weat that i would not be able to breath. We decided on a necklace with a gold circle ( kinda like a collar) pendant ont it. Have worn it eversince ( 7+ years now).

So my question does anyone else have a problem wearing a choker type collar because they can't handle it?

Yes, I can't stand anything around my neck, all my shirts are low round neck or V-neck. I can wear my play collar which is a leather collar for short periods of time (a few hours at most before I feel like I'm suffocating) but my formal collar is a 16" gold chain with 3 gold pendants on it.

Raises hand. I wear a silver chain with a heart shaped pendant on it made by a local artist.

Either female or male can wear a thick omega or herringbone chain in precious metal (silver, gold, platinum), which is non-restrictive. It can even be in stainless steel, because you want a durable piece of jewelry that you don't have to remove for any reason other than having to go through a metal detector. For females, you can swap out pendants or attach enhancers like a regular necklace chain.

I've had the same problem with collars. I don't really like necklaces either because I feel like they choke me when I sleep. That and they get tangled up in my hair. So my master bought be a gorgeous pandora bracelet. Every time we reach a new milestone or something amazing happens, he adorns it with another charm. Things that look innocent to most, have very special meanings to us. We found that it works even better because it is something that I can see without having to look in the mirror. Plus, when he ties my hands above my head, he makes me stare at the bracelet to remember who owns me....not that I could ever forget.

~FRing it~

I hate clothes of any type being around my neck, but I oddly do not mind a snug fitting collar around my neck. Weird, I know

Gosh, I'm the only one on here with a thick metal (chainmail) collar.
It gets tight at times, and I have asthma, so it gets to be a challenge during some activities, but I LOVE the restriction, as it puts me in check each time it's put on.
I do wear a silver & diamond bracelet as a public collar, especially when at work.

I own a little white fluffy dog. She has no collar. She sits, comes, speaks, shakes hands. When I wake up she is there to say hello with her tail wagging, at night come home from work and she is there tail wagging all excited. She does it to for two reasons, she know I am her master or leader of the pack as I like to say and she loves me. She does not need anything collar or anything to show love or respect and nor do I need to put anything on her to show she is mine.

I kind of had a similar problem when I was first starting out. I never liked wearing anything around my neck. I remember telling that to the first dominant woman who was entertaining the idea of owning me. She basically said it was a deal breaker, and that if I was hers, what she said would go. I was fascinated with being owned by her, so when she latched it around my neck, she made sure to remind me that it was there because she wanted it there, not because I was comfortable or not comfortable wearing it. It was around my neck for years, although taken off at times when it was necessary. But I found myself having to get used to it quickly. Those first few months were probably the most difficult in conditioning, but when you want something else so bad, you're sometimes willing to endure what's necessary to achieve it.

Anything tight around my neck for long periods of times triggers my PTSD so it would be a deal breaker for me if he insisted I wear a tight collar. Although my necklace/collar has only been off a few times when necessary for surgery or medical tests, a collar is not something he or I feel is needed in our relationship. We see it simply as a symbol of our commitment to each other.

We're in mid-menopause and the hot flashes can be miserable.

Therefore, collar wearing as a daily thing will get its next look-in in early 2016.
