@redmagic - maybe try putting your glasses on when reading

Does anyone here know or understand the concept of financial domination?

I think most people here understand the concept.

Or into it at all? I seem to be the only one.

Sadly, that's about as far from the truth as you can get. We're infested with the wallet-siphoning "royalty" version of internet cockroaches here and there's nary an exterminator to be found.

Red is being perfectly logical. You, on the other hand, sound a little twitchy.

He's not twitchy, he's "caring". Now he just needs to learn the difference between 'cite' and 'site'. [sm=modxiiswatching.gif]

If you can't win on logic... resort to personal attacks and hate. More proof of my point.

stef -> RE: Financial Domination (5/26/2014 3:05:30 PM)

If you honestly think anyone here hates you, you should go see a shrink.

Actually, we've conclusively demonstrated that you don't have an advanced psychology degree, despite your claims in another thread that you see patients in your practice. So it's just a question of how much you're lying at this point. The original OP of this thread was a fake profile, and here you are with fake argumentation. I think it's all kind of funny.

angelikaJ -> RE: Financial Domination (5/26/2014 3:13:59 PM)

Your 'world view' is so skewed, I find it scary that your fetish is to try and help confused women.
Heal thyself non-physician.

And btw: through my posting record it is pretty easy to discern that I am not a "hater".

People having strong and differing opinions from yours does not make them haters.
It may mean that they are more informed than you are, or that their opinion has a foundation of ignorance.

But this is not a one-opinion fits all forum, and it might do you well to stop taking things so personally when people disagree with your opinions.

JadedKitty -> RE: Financial Domination (5/26/2014 3:23:41 PM)

Many understand it, just as many don't understand it. And according to CM Support no Dominant is allowed to mention anything about financial domination or anything related to it on their profile.
Nor any links to any othet websites either.
If your primary interest is financial domination there are sites for just that.

caringShrink -> RE: Financial Domination (5/26/2014 3:23:41 PM)

Ok I will move on as I am quickly losing interest in this debate, but I think the OP will certainly understand my point which you all have so enjoyably reinforced. My work is done here, you can crawl back into your holes now...toodledo

Oops, looks like someone got caught in a masterfully laid trap.

Female lead financial domination relationships are very common in real life. I could site you many many examples I have seen in my practice. But they are not something that most people advertise, just like other D/s fetishes are often hidden from others.

Gee, my mom took charge of handling the finances and had to put my dad on a budget. (He would have lavished every luxury in the world upon her.) He wrote out the checks, took care of the paperwork, filed tax returns, the headachy stuff she didn't need to be bothered with. She chose what homes to buy, the bulk of what kinds of investments to make. There are many such vanilla marriages which operate with the wife being in control of the money and other assets, or having the final say-so. I would hardly equate this to a financial domination fetish.

In an exclusive, committed LTR, whichever partner is better at something than the other should be the one doing it, although the other partner should make the effort to pitch in and/or learn as a fallback position.

PrincessCourt710's statement that "I seem to be the only one" is ambiguous. OP, are you saying you think you seem to be the only fin-Domme around or here on CM who knows or understands the concept of financial domination? Would you care to enlighten them with your expertise, or are you wanting to take notes on how other fin-Dommes conduct their business for comparison purposes?

RedMagic is right and has always impressed me as being fair-minded and unbiased regarding matters D/s and BDSM. OP did not ask for cheerleading affirmation from the peanut gallery. The only poster who made a critical comment on the illegitimate practice of fin-Dommery happens to be a fin-Domme herself. [8|]

I saw that, too, coming from a DaddyDom who specializes in "helping women come out of their shells."

Shells, clothes, who knows. Definitely more creepy than caring.

Shades of O.o, for those who remember...
