ORIGINAL: caringShrink Female lead financial domination relationships are very common in real life. I could site you many many examples I have seen in my practice. But they are not something that most people advertise, just like other D/s fetishes are often hidden from others. Gee, my mom took charge of handling the finances and had to put my dad on a budget. (He would have lavished every luxury in the world upon her.) He wrote out the checks, took care of the paperwork, filed tax returns, the headachy stuff she didn't need to be bothered with. She chose what homes to buy, the bulk of what kinds of investments to make. There are many such vanilla marriages which operate with the wife being in control of the money and other assets, or having the final say-so. I would hardly equate this to a financial domination fetish. In an exclusive, committed LTR, whichever partner is better at something than the other should be the one doing it, although the other partner should make the effort to pitch in and/or learn as a fallback position. PrincessCourt710's statement that "I seem to be the only one" is ambiguous. OP, are you saying you think you seem to be the only fin-Domme around or here on CM who knows or understands the concept of financial domination? Would you care to enlighten them with your expertise, or are you wanting to take notes on how other fin-Dommes conduct their business for comparison purposes? RedMagic is right and has always impressed me as being fair-minded and unbiased regarding matters D/s and BDSM. OP did not ask for cheerleading affirmation from the peanut gallery. The only poster who made a critical comment on the illegitimate practice of fin-Dommery happens to be a fin-Domme herself.
