Not this one. Biased investigation (often known as pseudoscience) can reliably demonstrate the existence of bigfoot, ghosts, dousing, UFO's, a young earth, etc. Heck with enough bias one can even find proof of god in a coincidence involving a stone and a feather.

More objective investigation has consistently failed to produce this same evidence.

To prove that I am not wrong, you will need to freeze your head after your death for 1000 year's. It will be attached to a biotonic body and your 12th generation after your awakening will tell you, ahhhhhhh we still dont know it all. That is if we are still here. Maybe, or maybe not?

Wrong.

Some things currently defy logic and reasoning. It's what we can't currently put in an equation.

That's why we have to keep looking and experimenting to find the logic, to understand and progress

or we can try to deal in reality, keep learning and progressing.

The other option is to give up, stand still, and hope that angels and fairies exist

People who want to deal with reality need to confront the accumulating evidence instead of just pontificating that such effects are impossible and that "there is no such thing." That is a belief that takes the assumption of materialism as a tenet of faith and cries heresy when confronted with any threat to it. There is nothing scientific about such an attitude. It is, instead, the response of an inquisitorial priesthood, and their pretentions to the contrary are vacuous.

The links (plural) that I posted constitute data, and possibilities are what science is all about. Anyone who has a problem with that is not interested in science but in defending dogma.

Why don't you actually READ the thread?

I did.

I was responding to this nonsense...

I'm going to put up his full post again, please give it a second look:

What again has Islamic science produced these last 700 years besides roadside bombs and knapsack bombs. Tyson's thesis is that Islamic science took a nose dive and Western science could suffer the same fate. It would be helpful if you stopped making up your own shit and address the OP.

Note that nowhere in this post (or any of his other posts) is the statement "not one Islamic scientist". He presented you with the question "What again has Islamic science produced these last 700 years..." you're concluding his expected answer is "not one Islamic scientist", it's not actually something he said. I'm going to repeat that part because it's important "not one Islamic scientist" is what YOU added that to his position, NOT what the man posted.

Please rethink for a second the validity of your conclusion, there are multiple alternative answers he could have expected, for instance:

Q: "What again has Islamic science produced these last 700 years..."

A: A meager helping compared to their golden age.

I consider this alternative more likely than your conclusion because, one it's the OP which he's asking you to address and two he just watched a video informing him of at least one Islamic scientist in the last 700 years.

people who want to deal with reality are people who live in the real world. Is there evidence accumulating against reality?

Really??
And obviously you have failed to answer the questions about your "seers sometimes see the future" link

I agree nothing wrong with learning that reality is not completely as simple as the simple. Nor as complicated as the complicated. Oh there I go again talking silly. Carry on.

I am pretty sure that they have an atomic wepon.
I am pretty sure that they spoofed a predator out of the sky and reverse engineered it.
I am pretty sure they are spanking the ass of the u.s. army in the sand box. Maybe that ain't much but it is way more than nothing

Of course you do, you can reliably be expected to find God in things regardless of whether or not he's there. That's why the rest of us don't take it seriously every time the sufficiently biased find Jesus on a piece of toast or some ice crystals.

The point you're missing in your zeal to hop on anything anti-religious you find is that both you and Tyson are erroneously assuming cause and effect.

To maintain that Islamic science fell because of it's attachment to Islam ignores centuries of spectacular success equally attached to it. What changed isn't Islam, but rather, government focus. Since you maintain you've read the thread, I'll assume you've noted that. You're looking at the wrong cause.

As for today, much as I'm no fan of Fundies, and while yes, they're sticks in the mud regarding science, but they're not responsible for retarding it in any serious way (beyond their perception of it) -- that retardation is the work of zealous budget cutters, slashing funding for NASA, research grants, and so forth.

Again -- that's a change in government focus, not a function of religion.

Except your "science" isn't. You don't do science by doing an experiment and then throwing out all the data you don't like.

Radin has no idea how to create an unbiased experiment or set out to create a biased experiment. The experiment was functionally to show blasé and shocking pictures to people and then measure certain physical responses just prior to the photos being displayed. So of course the participant were tense before the display.  He excludes from his result almost all of his subjects and almost all of his test runs. So it is safe to assume all those runs were negative. So he cherry picked his data which is the ultimate no no of science.

You're making shit up again.

K.

Handwaves are not responses. The fact is the experiment is fatally flawed. If he'd had real results he would have published his full data set. Instead he cherry picked.

Well no, the only fact here is that you're just posting slanders and unsubstantiated claims as usual.

Believe whatever fantasy nonsense you want but puzzle over this, this effect would have to violate relativity. Violate relativity and you collapse space time.

Have you noticed everything existing at the same spot all at once?

Really? That possibility doesn't seem to bother physicists very much.

Relativity violations and beta decay ~Physical Review D
Prospects for Large Relativity Violations in Matter-Gravity Couplings ~Physical Review Letters

You just googled "violate relativity" and posted whatever came up right? Do any of those experiments have anything to do with violating causality? No. Do any of them involve actually having an event's effects before it happens? No.

You really are in way over your head.

In this case you won't find anything. You're flailing and it's showing. Physics simply makes precognition impossible.
