I seem to be an absolute fake magnet on here at the moment and a general target for unwanted domination from people I don't know. I try to keep things short and simple, but if there are any Dommes/Mistress' who wouldn't mind having a quick check over my profile and tell me if I'm going obviously wrong I'd be extremely grateful.

Just to clarify though guys, I'm a lesbian.

There's your biggest problem. You would rather take that off your profile, and send males to bulk by your mail controls.

If you don't know why, it won't do any good to tell you.

Ok noted, thanks :)

It aint gonna stop it entirely, but will slow it down in two ways.

You are welcome.

You post erotic scenarios in your blog and are surprised that you are getting unwanted attention?

If you don't want that kind of attention then talk about your vanilla self: (non-erotic) books you've read, recipes you've tried or thoughts on non-erotic aspects of D/s.

LunaBlu3 -> RE: fakes (6/10/2014 2:57:56 PM)

Yes, to the right people I figured that would give away quite a lot of myself without having to go on about it. But you are right, I've never made that link and it probably doesn't help. Equally if I take those away I wouldn't know where else to post them. Seems pointless to write them for nothing! That I write erotic literature shouldn't be an open door for people's terrible attitudes, that seems sad.

Well, there is a creative writing section down a ways, and by god, it is well traveled, sorta can have your cunt and eat it too, if I may make a pun.

Are you shitting me? You have a public profile on the Internet, you are a highly attractive woman and you wonder why you are attracting attention that you want and do not want? Also your journal entries are wank-fodder which will attract the sludge and dreck looking for a cheap thrill... they speak nothing about you that is worthwhile except that you write well.

Want to decrease the unwanted attention? Take down the majority of the sexy pictures and post a few that are more fitting, I am certainly no prude, but a photo of you in bondage is fine, 20 is overkill. You want to do creative writing or regale people with your escapades, don't do it on a BDSM matchmaking site, they are better suited for a blog somewhere else. In your profile you say little to nothing about who you are, what you are looking for or, you know, information that may be useful to any prospective partners to determine if they have interest. This will not eliminate the unwanted attention, but it may decrease a bit. Fakes exist, deal with it, others do and you are certainly not alone.

Finally, welcome to the forums.

angelikaJ -> RE: fakes (6/10/2014 3:03:36 PM)

You could post them on a site like Literotica or maybe start a blog on a blogging site.
But leading with erotica is just sending the wrong message.

I don't think it is an open door to poor attitudes, but they probably see it as a kind of permission to be sexual with you, since it could seem as though you are being sexual with the readers of your erotica.
I am not saying you are, I am stating how it is probably being perceived.

If I were of the suspicious sort, I could possibly think the OP is just trying to nudge more attention to her profile with this thread.

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, after all, we have had people come one here and ask for profile advice in earnest and by necessity it entails going to the profile and looking at it. We also have had the "fakes" accusation thrown around like feces at a monkey convention.

I've taken all of your advice so far. I do things without thinking sometimes, that's all

I said IF... I am generally not suspicious. In fact, I am usually thought of as too trusting.
