When I listen to the 'low information voter' as a conservative complain why Muslims around the world did not attack those that attacked the United States (on 9/11/01) nor apologize for those 19 'radicals'; I ask why they have not attacked those that attacked the United States (on 4/19/95) nor apologize for those 2 'radicals'. To the Muslim world outside the United States, the events of 9/11/01 is as much on their 'radar' as 4/19/95 is on the average conservative's 'radar'. Which is to say, non-existent. Both dates were of terrorists blowing stuff up and killing/wounding many people. Conservatives attack the 'Muslim Brotherhood', and other organizations that want power through intimidation with arms; yet, that's exactly the same attitude we see from organizations like The Tea Party. The people that make up both these groups of people care nothing for civilization, making good compromises, and building a better world for those to come in the future. Both groups push fear, hatred, and intolerance. The desire to build good cities, promote better living of the people within those cities, and the infrastructure needed for the people and cities to thrive....is a non-existent topic to both groups. So this latest grouping at the Heritage should not come as a surprise to anyone that understands not just the history by the psychology that is just below the surface of the history. These Muslim radicals, like conservative radicals, thrive on having an enemy to fight. It becomes a 'football game' to them, in that one side had to win for another to lose (i.e. a Zero Sum Game). For this group of Muslims, its 'Western Culture'; For conservatives, its what President Obama represents (intelligence, education, patience, wisdom, being human). I like to think the reason why such groups never obtain real power for long, is due to the numerous amount of people that wish for more 'good' in the world. That good should always triumph over evil. Reality is that most people just wish to be allowed to raise their families, be good neighbors, and have a good life is peace. Conservatives have used this 'Benghazi' issue to attack and threaten impeachment of the President. Yet, never once did any of these same conservatives hold the previous President of the United States to such in-depth and long-term scrutiny over and of the 13 'Benghazi' like events during his administration. So they have no real credibility. And that this is all theater towards the American people because they have NOTHING else to offer the nation right now.
