No worries, peon. You'll be *quite* comfortable at my place if you ever find yourself in California.

I nearly missed that. Thank you most kindly, MTYR!

I definitely pick up. I hate going to someone's house that's a big mess. I don't sterilize things beyond maybe cleaning the kitchen/bathrooms w 409. And I'll usually spray some febreeze.

Krud Kutter is simply the best cleaner there is. Will take dried latex paint out of your jeans. Not real easy to find but Home Depot & Lowes usually has it.

I will say that he was highly daunted by seeing all the decorative pillows on the bed. I don't think three rows of decorative pillows is excessive.

Just not pillows with big satiny frills on them, Des. And not arranged at tasteful angles. That's a really, really bad thing to do. Trust me on this.

Clean, neat and tidy. Otherwise...it is what it is.

Please tell me that you don't have one of those fluffy covers on your toilet seat lid (in burgundy or any other colour)? You know, the things that make the lid fall down on a man's dick when he's doing a wazz? They were invented by a very old lady who'd often heard men described but had never actually had one visit her.

You mean with plush faux fur? Who wants to hear all that toilet seat clanging & banging in the middle of the night? Not moi. You have to have a bathmat in there anyway for getting out of the bathtub/shower so you don't slip and fall flat on your (skinny ) ass. Might as well have a matching set, along with the rug that wraps around the base of the commode that you guys keep pissing all over when you misaim.

...that's what a friend often instructed using the facilities at his art studio...'don't piss on the floor guys.' So we all learned.

No the pillows don't have frills. There's the set that's of the same fabric and pattern as the curtains and the bedspread.
There's the set in a collar that picks up the paint on the wall.
And the set that has birds on it which coordinates with the bird paintings.

Those are the decorative pillows. Under the bedspread are the usable ones, three for each of us.

I don't think that's too much.
But of course, they're all set on end, tasteful angles as Peon described it.

When I shared a house with a bunch of other blokes, I just used to drop neat bleach all over the floor every now and then if they didn't aim properly. Harsh corrective, but it worked.

Des, do you have a can of air freshener in the bathroom that's labelled 'Summer Meadow Fragrance' [or similar]? Also, do you turn over the corner of the bottom sheet of toilet paper on the toilet roll holder before guests arrive?

I'm sensitive to smells so I just open the window and air the bathroom out.

And doesn't everyone fold the t p with the corners turned in?
