Valkyrien -> What are you looking for in a potential partners profile? (6/18/2014 9:26:26 PM)

What is a "slave" / "sub" looking for when browsing through profiles?

the reason I ask is that the ones who I have found who I thought would be ideal for me, does not reply me.

I am going to keep writing to someone if they don't reply me the first time, I am just wondering if my profile comes off the wrong way or something.

To be honest I am really not good at this online dating thing in general and I have not had much success with it, but I keep trying since ...well nothing was ever achieved by not trying...and as they say "You have to fail to succeed".

So the best way is to learn from my mistakes.

Someone compatible, just like I hope you are.

Post a common email that you send, and we can offer suggestions.

But don't expect a lot of responses. Women here, especially those your age and younger can easily get a hundred emails a day.
As a result, unless you really manage to pique their interest, no response is a response. Meaning don't keep writing, that comes across as a stalker.

Accept they aren't interested and look for someone who is.

I suggest finding a TNG group in your area to meet people.

I don't really have a Copy/paste template that I use.

I read through what they are seeking in their profile text and write according to that.

but in general it goes something like:

" HI,

My name is ******

I read your profile text and I am interested what you are seeking.

would you like to chat?"

..that kind of thing, I hope that doesn't come across as I am a weirdo or something.

It is not easy to formulate myself when English is my 2nd language

Another thing is that I get a lot of views on my profile, but nobody writes to me.

That is another thing that got me wondering about my profile too.

But then again there are not really that many people who talks to me in real life either, so it might just be with me in general.

Sounds like a copy/paste to me. Mention something specific - her interest in camping, or dancing.

The only majorly offputting thing in your profile is the bit about being a "normal" straight guy. It makes me think that you think of gay people as being somehow abnormal and that would turn me off. I have to say your photos aren't to my personal taste either (but kudos for having your clothes on and showing a hobby) but others might enjoy them.

When you send a message, please tell me it's more personal than that? Because what you posted was incredibly generic and bland. For example, if I was messaging you I might start by asking where you learned to scuba dive, or what kind of free weights routine you'd suggest for a beginner. It gives you something to reply to and starts the conversation, proves I've read your profile and makes it sound like I actually care about who you are.

No, you won't get many replies. Women here are overwhelmed with messages. Don't keep messaging if they don't reply - it makes you look pushy or desperate. If you really, really think this person could be the one and you think she may have missed your message by accident, wait a couple of weeks and then send ONE polite follow up. Don't say 'why didn't you answer me?' Just a friendly, 'hey, I'd still love to talk sometime' along with another conversation starting question. Still no reply? She's not interested, leave her alone.

Great feedback, thank you 👍

I have removed the first part with the "normal straight guy"

Just for the record, if I don't get a reply from someone the first time I don't brother with them anymore.
