Really?

Originally was suppose to be former Vice President Dick Cheney. Though the running notion under the Bush administration was that G. W. Bush was just the 'figure head / puppet' and it was the Vice President that ran the show.

Clerical error....My apologizes.

Is pointing out a Hillary Administration being more akin to an Obama Administration, rather than a Clinton Administration is fearmongering?!? I'm sure Senator McCain and former Governor Romney would be amused at your alluding to the Left not using fear tactics. Or, am I in error in recollecting those two being alluded to as the next W?

Its fear-mongering when the GOP/TP does it, since they have no rational, intelligent, or wise ideas on anything affecting this nation at current. The Democrats had ideas at the time Mr. McCain was campaigning against Mr. Obama. And again when President Obama was campaigning against Mr. Romney. Sen. McCain was pushing the idea of 'We have to hit them over there, or else they will hit us at home'. Which last I check, is fear mongering. Its the same reasoning for torturing people in prisons under US control. You would think someone that was a POW would be against torturing of prisoners....

Mr. Romney just wanted to be elected. And he would do anything and say anything to get elected. If he had to suck the President's cock just to get elected....he would have done so. Do you really want an individual like that anywhere near power? Its not fear mongering when your stating the facts of a situation. And those facts are easily verifiable by other sources. But those two concepts can not exist without the responsibility of what information can do to an uneducated population. Meaning, its up to the individuals in places of power and/or influence to be responsible with the power they wield towards others that receive such information. To be fair in such information, without political/religious/financial slant or motive. AKA journalism.

When April 19th, 1995 was but only a month old, did then, former President Bill Clinton use the horrible event to dictate policy, ideology and fear onto the American public? Since former President G. W. Bush and those around him were more than happy to milk 9/11/01 for all it was worth. That when people were suffering from job, home, and dignity loses, President Obama listen to the GOP/TP and decided against the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act? For every one one act of fear from Democrats and the President, there exists a hundred times that from Republicans and Tea Partiers. How many conspiracies come from liberals as opposed to conservatives/libertarians? Yes, you are indeed right, some fear does come from the President, Democrats and liberals. But its a tiny stream when compared to the metaphorical Mississippi River of Republicans, Tea Party (most directly), conservatives and libertarians. How many conservatives stated this nation would be in a second civil war if President Obama was elected to a second term?

Do you mean using fear like trying to convince women that the right is waging a war on them and if they elect anyone from the right they will make all abortion illegal and make women carry dead fetuses inside until they deliver naturally.

Have you read the RNC platform? Or the policy positions of any major republican politician running for President in the last 34 years?

I'm a bit busy right now so why don't we just skip to the part where you call me a liar and I call you an idiot.

I asked you a question. Will you answer it? Or is insult all you are capable of?

That wasn't an insult, that was a snarky comment implying that any answer given would result in you calling me a liar and me calling you an idiot in return. Now if you want an insult I could point out the trouble you just had reading a simple sentence and responding without reading shit that wasn't there, but that would be to easy.

So you can't got it, dumbass.

I'm a bit busy right now so why don't we just skip to the part where you call me a liar and I call you an idiot.

So on the day SCOTUS declares that women are less important than a company's "faith" you have nothing but snark to hide behind the bullshit you spew. How incredibly pathetic.

Thank you for making my argument that "Republicans wish to hide the dead from the American People". While those dead are on a military plane, in military hands, they are STILL military property. Until they are turned over to the families. Which means, being ban from observing those flights, watching the honorable dead be unloaded with full honors, from a warzone (whether one agrees with it or not) should also be ban. That's a pretty chilling ban on the 1st amendment. Logically, if that was allowed, the media could be ban from filming police officers/military mowing down everyone at the Clive Bundy Ranch a few months ago. The only thing that kept the government (be it local, state and/or federal) from doing so was due to the media. Since everyone old enough to remember the 90's has seen the filming of the Branch Davidian Compound bursting into flames and killing everyone inside.

Or do you really think those idiots at that ranch could have held off the full onslaught of the US Military?

While it is sad to watch such processes, I feel its important that we know what the full cost of war is upon military families. Or of chickenhawks in the Republican/Tea Party that throw our men and women into a meat grinder over total lies. Or are you one that still believes there really are WMDs in Iraq?

Never heard of 'Bushisms'? It came about after a few months of then, President G. W. Bush giving very odd and amusing speeches. Yes, and they had the FACTS on their side. Something the Bush Administration never had while it was milking 9/11. The Iraq Régime was many things, but it was not an ally of the guy nor the organization that guy was the head of, that created 9/11. The reason why George wanted Saddam was for the attempted assassination by Saddam on his father. You might remember that as the time during the Clinton Administration that a pile of cruise missiles got launched into Iraq.

The 'plan' of the GWB administration was to keep American's focus on Iraq and Afghanistan while ignoring America. That allowed Republicans (whom controlled Congress) to undo many laws that were originally created to mitigate or nullify capitalism from blowing the whole economy out of balance. And we all know what happened in 2006-2007, right? That's when the economy started its downward spiral to the second great depression. Those laws were put in place originally to keep capitalism regulated so that greed could not undue the country. Ironically those laws were put into place by Republicans to keep businesses good, not greedy.

Didn't make that argument. Yet another misinterpretation on your part. It being up to the family now doesn't mean it's any less "hidden," does it?

I contend that there is very little journalistic integrity left in the mainstream media. Just because it aligns more with your politics doesn't mean there isn't any politics or skew in it.

I'm really hoping Hillary isn't the next President, but I'm not willing to put money against her winning. I'm pretty much used to "useless crap, false promises, idiotic ideology, complete nutty and stupidity" coming from both parties.

thompsonx -> RE: The RNC uses FEAR.....AGAIN... (7/1/2014 6:30:49 PM)

I have been hearing they will make abortion illegal since I was old enough to care and they haven't done it yet so after 30 some years it becomes an empty threat.

How is it an empty threat if they keep trying?

And now that that is cleared up,

No it is not cleared up. You intentionally lied. You got caught. Now you want to evade responsibility for the simple minded bullshit that comes out of your mouth.
You claim to be a lesbian but you continually spew mindnumbingly stupid rhetoric in support of those who would put your punk ass in jail for your addiction to the ruby fruit.

when did I say the republicans were not trying to ban abortion.

Both sides of that lie have been pointed out, you simple minded phoque.

I'm a bit busy right now

You do not seem too busy to interject your moronic opiniions. But you are too busy to actually educate yourself about a topic of which you are ignorant.

Or maybe you mean fear like trying to convince gays that they will be shoved back in the closet if anyone on the right gets in. Or maybe you mean fear like trying to convince the poor that only the left cares about them and they will be left to die if the right gets power. Is that the kind of fear you mean?

You seem to have a pretty firm grasp of your party's platform.

You are the dumbass liar who decided to spout nonsense about the Republicans not trying to ban abortion. Did you forget already?

Nope, don't remember saying that but since most of the shit you claim people say comes from the voices in your head, I am not surprised.

Then someone hacked your account

well you can't be stupid enough to try to imply that the left isn't claiming that right is waging war on women and I have been hearing they will make abortion illegal since I was old enough to care and they haven't done it yet so after 30 some years it becomes an empty threat. And now that that is cleared up, when did I say the republicans were not trying to ban abortion. There are many people on both sides of the fence that are against abortion. It's nothing new.

I guess I haven't so please tell me oh so intelligent one, when did they make abortion illegal and which one of those nasty republicans signed that law?

Try your own governor to start with. Then look at Texas, Mississippi, North Dakota, Arkansas and Virginia. You'll whine about it still being technically possible to get an abortion but those Republicans have made it as hard a possible so as to make it functionally impossible for as many women as possible. But you of course will refuse to acknowledge that fact.
