It isn't a one true way thing. At my age I know it takes life and times to acquire the wisdom and experience that eventually inform our intuitions that protect us from assholes. 18-21 year olds haven't had enough of that to safely protect themselves on a site like this. I'd add Craigslist to that list of sites. And young people should explore their sexuality to their hearts' content but CM is a shitty place for them to do that. IMO.

I met people off craigslist. I used my common sense and nothing bad ever happened to me. I'm extremely careful. My co-worker however, who has been married twice (almost three times)- has been suckered out of money three times from eHarmony, Match, and one from okcupid. She continuously ends up in tumultuous relationships. She's in her 60's now. Stupid is everywhere. Age doesn't say all that much about experience or maturity in my opinion.

He was the story on Crime Watch Daily including naming Collar Me. And another web site quotes the opening post of this thread including her screen name.

The second snap shot is from the 'next' link in the profiles. Also, if you hit search, it pulls the second page. There are no search or filter functions... they can't snap shot the database. Although you can input data, the same thing happens if it's blank. You just get the second landing page snap shot unfiltered. However, all profiles in those first pages pages are archived and profile data available. Although the state by state profile listings go more than the first two pages, the profiles themselves are not archived. The snap shot is automatic and only follows links a few clicks deep.
