That will be just great for America. Especially if they follow the repub house ethics. Should be a real profit center.

Here

This would be funny if it wasn't just another tragic chapter in repub political hypocrisy. Where do we get these people ?

FelineRanger -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (6/29/2014 10:06:15 PM)

Party affiliation be damned. I want politicians who will do something besides line their own pockets and keep pissing on each others' shoes.

Lucylastic -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (6/30/2014 1:16:19 AM)

Unfortunately those people are as rare as anal teeth, in ANY country of any party.
but party afffiliation aside(lol) having a republican senate and house will finish off the country.
god help the middle and poor classes of the US, oh hell the rest of the world too.

So do the people in Eric Canter's district.

Its becomes a better government, when "We the People..." finally decided 'enough is enough' and force the issue. Not through violence and revolt, but systematically removing every offender from Congress. This of course depends on trust by each American to the other; not to screw one political philosophy or the other. And all those forces seeking to undermine those viewpoints of a good government will do anything and everything to undermine that process. They know the buttons to push, the fears to rape, and the language to steer Americans towards 'letting the system stay as is for another election'.

The STOCK Act should be followed. If any person within the US House of Representatives opposes this; then we should throw them out of the House. Its rather ironic that the Speaker of the House is suing the President of the United States for not following some unnamed law; yet can enforce actual laws that pertain to the House. Wouldn't it be funny if it was found the Speaker was just one of those individuals doing the insider trading? Would be history repeating itself from the last Democrat to be in the White House....

Sanity -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (6/30/2014 2:00:31 PM)

Leftists piss and moan because "congress doesn't do anything." Well, tell you what - give us a veto-proof conservative senate and then sit back and watch as things get done.

mnottertail -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (6/30/2014 2:02:02 PM)

Fuck that. You fucking freemarket communist Nazi shiteaters would destroy this country within a month. We want the right things done, and you are all about the wrong things.

We sort of had that already in 2001 and the actions taken with a Republican majority Congress and Republican President began what I really believe is the final collapse of the U.S.A. as we know it. We are the 21st century equivalent of the Roman Empire and religious extremists from all sides are salivating and taking advantage of the opportunity to send people back into ignorance and intellectual darkness.

KenDckey -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (7/2/2014 7:07:11 AM)

I personally believe that we are turning into a police state. A state where a law is more important than the constitution. A state where one person can change laws arbitrarily without the approval of the body that created the law. Where children are being advised to report those (including family members) who speak out against ideas and programs of government. Where personal responsibility and decision making is moving toward being governed. A state where people feel entitled to be given everything.

I have lived in those states, and they aren't as wonderful as one might think. Now, I see where those charged with enforcing those laws are rebelling against them. What I fear is that this will eventually turn into more than words if things keep going like they are.

Perhaps if you had not spent your time in the shit house smoking ciggaretts you might have had the opportunity to study the u.s. constitution. Ya know it allows that kinda shit to be. Now where you were during history class when they were teaching us that the actions of jefferson and jackson were not all that different than the actions of nixon or obama.

Where children are being advised to report those (including family members) who speak out against ideas and programs of government.

Did you have a big bowl of dumb ass for breakfast? Defend this plate of truds or retract it.

Where personal responsibility and decision making is moving toward being governed.

And yet you support corporations which are the very essence of avoidance of personal responsibility.
Why is that?
Why is it that you can support the existence of corporations and have the audacity to claim to believe in personal responibility.

A state where people feel entitled to be given everything.

Like the way you scammed your lifetime medical care from the army?[8|]

I have lived in those states, and they aren't as wonderful as one might think.

Which states are those and just what did you find wrong with them? Or is that a fucking secret?

Now, I see where those charged with enforcing those laws are rebelling against them.

What the fuck are you talking about?
What cops are refusing to do their sworn duty as revenue enhancement officers?

What I fear is that this will eventually turn into more than words if things keep going like they are.

You have mentioned before that you are armed and delusional. So what do you have to worry about?

We had that.

We got the economic mess Bush and a "permanent Republican majority" left us.

TheHeretic -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (7/2/2014 7:18:45 PM)

FR

Not just yes, but HELL YES. With a veto proof majority.

This administration is already incompetent, it needs to be neutered before it does any more damage.

Sanity -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (7/2/2014 9:12:41 PM)

An overwhelming majority agree with that sentiment, Rich.

Look 33% is not a majority much less an overwhelming one. You can believe any crazy shit you want but you don't get to make up your own facts.

LOL Jackson told SCOTUS that if they wanted to enforce their rules to do it. They didn't. Was he wrong, probably, but he did gain Florida for us. LOL

Common core does this in my opinion.

I support the decisions who are the sole owners of stores when it comes to religious freedom, providing that they don't impose their religious beliefs on others. For example, Hobby Lobby wasn't about limiting birth control, only abortion control because their belief is that is murder. Hence they restricted 4 of the 20 pills. Yet they don't allow us condoms under Obamacare which is great for STD control. Under Obmamcare, these decisions are taken from business and given to the government. Up here, we have a monopoly on health care because the government made it that way, which I think is a violation of RICO laws.

A state where people feel entitled to be given everything.

I worked for my healthcare. 20+ long years. No I didn't like getting shot at for it, and the VA has refused to see me for my service connected issues. Also, against what I was promissed when I joined, my social security has been deminished because I am a soldier. I was also required to join Medicare (federal law) and pay my fee like everyone else for that insurance when I turned 65.

I have lived in those states, and they aren't as wonderful as one might think.

Which states are those and just what did you find wrong with them? Or is that a fucking secret?

Ethiopia, where based upon one's tribal connections, you were denied employment, opportunity, free speech, and other such things we consider basic to our way of life.

Also Berlin, Germany where my house was hit by bullets from the East (Berlin is 211 air miles from the West when I was there) for trying to be with family.

Now, I see where those charged with enforcing those laws are rebelling against them.

Isn't it in Colorado that many of the county sheriff's made this stand on gun rights?

What I fear is that this will eventually turn into more than words if things keep going like they are.

Armed yes, delusional, possibly - you gotta talk to my doc and I don't think she will talk to you about it. What do I have to worry about? My sworn duty to defend and uphold the constitution and my sworn duty to obey those officers appointed over me - yes, I am a soldier in the even that as has been described in Congress that the people MIGHT rise up against the President and his Administration

Musicmystery -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (7/3/2014 5:29:36 AM)

Hardly what you claim. From your link:

Voters were split over which of the two most recent presidents has done a better job with 39 percent saying Obama has been a better president than Bush and, 40 percent saying Obama is worse.

"Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of Quinnipiac University's polling unit.

Obama's job approval rating has inched higher to 40 percent, up from 38 percent in December.

On the environment, 50 percent gave Obama positive marks.

Sanity -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (7/3/2014 5:32:34 AM)

Keep telling yourself that everyone loves Barack, MM

Repeat it until you believe it

Musicmystery -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (7/3/2014 5:34:43 AM)

If you don't believe what a link says, then it's pointless of you to quote it.

And this one doesn't say what you pretend it says.

dryhump -> RE: So you want a repub senate too ? (7/3/2014 5:39:12 AM)

you guys keep acting like was this conservative icon........he was the reason Obamacare was passed....Those congresses played the same game this rep. senate is playing......
