Check IMDB for the synopsis (synopsi?) of these shows...:

Penny Dreadful: Love the show, not thrilled with the actress playing Vanessa (her face bothers me for some reason). Billie Piper, Timothy Dalton and Josh Hartnett (I guess he's a Thing? type person?) are in it. But... BILLIE PIPER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dominion: 2 episodes in and I find it kinda interesting (the concept, anyway). None of the actors have grabbed me, and the storyline thus far is "meh", but the concept is intriguing, so I will give it at least a half-season shot.

The Last Ship: the concept kinda reminds me of (original)Red Dawn/any Crichton novel, but the acting doesn't totally suck. And since I like Walking Dead this is kinda cool (even if there aren't zombies).

Dominion left me flat. I just couldn't empathize with the characters.

Last Ship has potential. Penny Dreadful is fantastic so far.

I'm digging Crossbones and the new season of Defiance too.

I'm enjoying Defiance as well. I'm also interested to see where they're going to take this season of Falling Skies.

Power is a new show I like. Also Gang Related. Last Ship is queued up but I haven't gotten to it yet.

Black Box is ok, I think they already reworked it and its better. I've started Penny Dreadful butnot thrill. The Night Shift is good.

Also queued up is Taxi Brooklyn, and NY Med.

Yes I watch a lot, lol.

If you are into picking up entire seasons of shows, check out Ray Donavon 1st season.

I am a femdom but boy oh boy does Liev Schreiber give off some serious vibes that I can't help but get sucked into.

Here's a preview of the season: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r36OT6TsHOw

I watched the first episode of "The Last Ship" and will watch the second episode soon...I really like this series so far..."Under the Dome" starts again tonight, I think, so I will watch that too....."Orphan Black" just finished up and can't wait for the next season to start....Also just ended "Fargo"....what a great show!

I hope they make a mini-series out of the Stephen King book "11/22/63".

The Last Ship looks really good, I haven't watched it yet but intend to when I can start at the beginning. The other show I saw previews for has Halle Berry in it. I forget the name, but she's alone on a space station for over a year (I think) and she comes back to earth pregnant. Curious where that one's going to go.

I am enjoying "Under the Dome" too in its second season...can't wait for each episode..I usually watch my favorite shows on Time Warner on Demand so I can go backwards if I want to as I don't have a DVR yet.

I saw one episode of Under the Dome. I liked it but lost interest.
Penny dreadful, LOVE IT!
Was it just me or is Vanessa hotter when she's possessed?

It is extremely rare for me to truly bother with what I affectionately call "The Idiot Box".

Oh, I have it on for "background noise", quite a bit but it is very rare for me to pay any attention to it.

I do, occasionally see an advertisement for a show that catches my eye and the content may spark my interest but even that is rare.

What happens is I watch an episode or two (to give the show a chance) and, unfortunately, that's usually as far as it goes. Some of the recent shows that fall into this category are: "Royal Pains", "Leverage", "Hot In Cleveland" (I've had a crush on Valerie since she was 12 years old), "House" ... You get the point.

The newest exception is a new show called: "The Divide". I have watched both episodes and I am hooked (so far). It's right up my alley, a law/courtroom/human nature drama.

Screen captures still RULE! Ya feel me?

I'm not a tv watcher. But the plural of synopsis is synopses. Same for crisis and crises.
I guess college Latin has come in useful after all.

Thx, Des. I never had any Latin classes, and I am envious of both older and younger generations now where is IS an option!

Oh.... and I've gotten sucked back into Toddlers and Tiaras. FInally saw Honey Bobo. As appalled as I was by THAT trainwreck, I have to say that the Russian Bride mother honestly wanting to commit murder - that poor babygirl!! (I hope that MIa's dad divorces that cossack cunt and gets those poor children the counseling they will need to become happy, healthy adults)

We started on "Tyrant," but it didn't capture the wife's interest. I have the last couple episodes sitting on the DVR, but it isn't really grabbing me either. We'll see.

We checked the first couple episodes of "The Strain," a couple nights ago. That looks promising.

The Mister and I have very different tastes when it comes to tv viewing, and we usually watch things separately.
However, we have been really enjoying The Last Ship and have been watching it together every week.
Unfortunately, he also likes Fallen Skies, and I take this opportunity to finish any last minute tidying up,
which is usually (and conveniently!) done in the other tv room.

Top Chef has added a new spin this season by adding a show in which previous contenders duke it out.
I'll be certain to be watching that, as well as season 12 of the original Top Chef, which is filmed in Boston this year.

FINALLY!! A T&T episode in which I actually didn't want to beat the shit out of parents or children!

The kids wished each other luck, and said congrats (without sounding snarky) at the end. The parents weren't obnoxious.

I'm losing interest in Dominion. Last Ship STILL has me intrigued (maybe partially due to having grown up during the Cold War/current events that may or may not resemble said Cold War).
The Strain has me on the fence but leaning towards "meh".
The LEftovers: see above.
Under the Dome hasn't lost me yet.

I haven't heard of Tyrant. Will look into it.
