Sorry, a little military flashback there...with the 4th coming up on Friday, I am sure you have a lot planned on your plate. Nothing special on my end that I know of...probably nursing a new hole where I had a tooth. Yanking is planned for the 2nd.

If you are one of these people who enjoy having your pets with you when fireworks are going off...DON'T TAKE THEM WITH YOU!!! The explosions scare them to death and makes them lose their mind. Leave them at home, indoors. Give them some extra treats when you leave them and they should be content, even happy when you come home smelling of brats and cold beer.

I won't attend any fireworks...PTSD here. Too much like gunshot (which is why I hate hunting season). Bad memories.

Mine and hubby's 16 yr anniversary (I haven't killed him yet. Lol)
New slave is settling in and doing great.
Going to my mamas and daddy's in a week or so. I'm excited. That's about it here.

I have two boys now, the second one is pretty new to me still. I'm spending the 4th with the one & I see the other one early next week.

I've harvested the potatoes already out of my garden & it's still early enough in the growing season around here that I can plant a second crop. My cherry tomato plant has tons of baby green tomatoes on it.

I've been experimenting lately w/ sewing apparel for the adult baby crowd & then, if the stuff turns out well, I want to do more sewing of it and sell it on Ebay. There's a definite niche market for it and, if I can do it less expensively than others out there, it will sell. it would also give me some extra $$ in my budget.

Overall, I'm pretty happy & healthy.

OMG, the biggest thing is in the works! Not wanting to jinx it, I'll wait until all's settled before making the announcement. August roll should have the details. Suffice to say that if it goes, I'm the happiest and most pumped up about a project than I've been in at least ten years.

Jeez, can't sleep, too excited.
