actually most here are missing the point of Financial Domination and
a perfect sample of the misconseptions thats seen by many Male Doms
is the fact that it is a { I am financially successfull hence do not need ANY HELP financially }
Its not about the finacial stability of the Dominant.
This is why so many Males dont get this part of Dominantion
and Woman get it.

Domination works when the things that are of value to you are Controlled.
If Money is of value to you and regardless if you use a Pro Domme or Dominant in a Mono relationship or Poly that are not Pro, finance of any subjudicate holds control. And the amount of power a submissive is willing to relent or the total release of a slave to a Dominant involves in sum way both the monitary value and resorce of a person as well as their material outlook. JMO

I know many Doms whom I would call Pro Doms in that they charge for Their service with in the Lifestyle. Maybe not here online as readily as many of the Pro Dommes do but I know sum both online and in real life.
Many of the Public Dungeons of the USA have Dom Owners whom rent out Their time and expertease.
There are many Doms I know in mono relationships that I would define as a Pro Dom because they take funds from many subs on a schedule that pays for Thier everything even tho they do not define Their selfs as Pro Doms. That goes the same for Dommes as I know many whom gain funds from many subs or slaves on a regular basis both for real life scenes and for online association. I also know Male Doms whom pretend to be ProDommes online for monitary gain and this is what many do not understand and see is the corruption in this lucrative business.
I know so many Dommes whom are payed BIG BUCKS for their simple writing and training online by email. Its a 3 BILLION dollar a year business online! And thats the statistics of those whom claim their income. I can just emagine what the real statistics are.

I am NOT a Pro Domme. I am Financially stable all on My Own However when I contract a slave in real life I do take control of their financial exsistance as a point of control along with all other things with in their lifes. Online I only accept material gifts of appreciation for things such as My public postings or My poetry or simply because sumone admires Me and would like to do sumthing to show this appreciation. Im sure every single person here online would accept and enjoy and appreciate being noticed and given a small token of anothers thought that was sumthing more then simply a cash donation. Money to Me doesent hold the same value of emotion that gifts do. Of course I am not the kind of Woman that Money nor Men can control easily either....... JMO

DisciplineSpank4 -> RE: Where are all the Pro Doms? (12/10/2004 4:13:34 PM)

A male pro dom is met with alot prejudice within community for a variety of reasons. In fact, the domme population seems to be unsupported of male doms for reasons that have to do with the lifestyle.

Without going into details or particulars; there is one pro dom who brought two service slaves to an event and was ejected. Now, it is true the reason was because of a legal aged slave who did not meet org age requirements.

One could say that was prejudice. But again, probably if it had been a domme, she would have been given more latitude.

In todays society, a male dom is pictured as violent prone. A domme is not. Yet, a domme is very capable and do inflict serious heavy play on subs. So if a male dom is like that...I think there are more issues.

Also, most women are not really up to working with a professional male. I think it tends to be more private. While a male will go to a dungeon and love the exposure and play in wide open...lol!

I tried going pro once with the advice to go to NYC>

lol

I have been looking for this for days! I knew I'd seen it, but until a friend just pointed me back at a website, I couldn't remember where I'd seen it. http://www.dungeondulionesse.com/talon.html

Yeah why don't more dom's ask for money and milk their skill for money. Good question.

It is for me pretty hard to consider getting paid for something that is so enjoyable, so fun, so fulfilling. It is like a part of you so to profit from it seems immoral I guess, for me anyway. I am not a 24/7 lifestyler, so that is why I say that.

The one reason to consider this avenue is to gain more acceptance quicker from a sub, where she can become more confident of my intentions, her role, my role, the extent of the relationship etc. It is now very difficult to obtain a first meeting or even to exchange emails because of their reluctance to go r/t, and the hesitation to step out and get of the scare factor of the first time encounter.

Maybe if instead I advertised as a pro, these things would be easier, maybe I should only accept wooden nickles.
