I know there's the spam button but I just received a very racist message and I don't think it should be tolerated. As and far as I know the spam button only works if enough people report the user.

When you have the email open, hit the report button. That will give you multiple options and the best for this might be vulgarity. If someone is doing this to you, they most likely are doing it to others and Support counts on your reports so that they can deal with these things.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Once you have reported it, you can block the person too.

I hope the rest of the day goes better!

I'm sorry that this kind of crap still happens.

Upon further inspection, the senders profile was hidden before, he is African American. I specify in my profile that I'm mixed but not what I'm mixed with so I don't know why I get racist hate mail. Half the time I'm not even the race they're insulting. I told the young man I felt bad he had self hate issues and suggested he seek professional help. This was the response I recieved. I'm a crazy magnet, I'm convinced.

"I don't self hate. I'm proud to be black even though I'm a slave, in fact this is my alter ego. The only reason I don't like you black women is because you are self haters, as a light skin black male who's 1/4 white I've been praised by dark women and haerd dark women asy,"I WANT MY KIDS TO LOOK LIKE U IMMA GET ME A WHITE MAN" while they sit on welfare, run from responsbility, etc.

plus white women look better but since i love myself so much i rather date a black girl my skin color but i really dont care white women are just wining

im sorry

but they are when you are a black male on higher status as I am they are.M aybe in the hood I give it to you black women got it there lol."

So you received an email, you suggested there was something wrong with the guy in a reply and then got this email back, from a black guy, complaining about black women, mostly, and he is not actually hating on you in what you published.

So, I guess I have to ask why a Dom cannot handle something like this herself without this forum drama. Could you not ask for help the normal way?

What would the "normal" way be? And how is he not hating on me?

You want to pretend you never saw the big "report" button on his email message. So the normal way is not going to the forum with drama, princess. Where is the hate you see? I see YOU telling him he has self hate issues and he replies black women have self hate issues and white women whine. So you can dish hate out but you cannot take it. Then instead of reporting it, you need to come onto the forum and a create drama throwing the racist word around a bit too freely.

Again, why does a Dom need to handle this with so much drama rather than the normal way?

Ja, she did see it and mentioned it. Learn to read, and you aint even gotta go between the lines. She also mentioned the automated system. Why not review what she wrote, this time for meaning.

Hey, I am all for raceplay, consentually, but jumping on your freak out of the blue for someone who has no desire to participate is what we call non-consentual kink, and supposedly, homie don't play that shit in our communities.

Did you not read my OP? I specially said that I know there's a report or spam button. But the mods don't see those unless multiple people report the person.

Moderators do not see reports but Support will see your report. This is a profile problem and Support is the only one who can help you. How upsetting it is to receive such a message but as said to you by Mod3 the only thing you can do at this point is report it and block the person. Even if hidden you can still report it.

Of course I read your OP. It was clear you saw it and were unsatisfied with the correct way to report it and decided drama on the forum was the best way for you. Perhaps you don't realize we all get shitty hate messages. We ignore them and never make the mistake of replying, especially with hate as you did, to them because that feeds the monkey. So listen to experience and the two, yes two Moderators on a nine message thread (or not!) and stop trying to defend how you did this. If you get a shitty message, don't reply (as you did) and even report it and if you get more crap, hit the report button and move on.

How is that the correct way to report it? There has been other correct ways mentioned by Moderators here. That puts you in the incorrect way column, again, as per usual.

I followed the Moderators instructions and contacted Support. I believe that was the correct thing to do.

*Dramatically places my open hand upon my head in an ever so Southern Belle manner*

Sigh

Whether the opinion is that someone is being dramatic or not, many discuss these issues on the forum and they have every right to do so. Just as other members have a right to challenge that within TOS and Guidelines. When members believed what they were once told, that each report doesn't get reviewed until a certain amount of reports have been done, they would have motivation to come to the forums and mention the issue they are having.

Seeing the issues with this, our wonderful Support Team worked on this and other things. There have been a number of changes for improvement. When you report an email, it goes directly to Support and they deal with it. One report and you have attention.

So there is no need to dramatically or not, argue the point and how members handle the situation.

Thank you

The reporting system has indeed been changed. Support is working hard to get to each report. Each violation listed now generates on a separate report sheet. Priorities were set as to which lists would be emptied out first. So, for now, yes, some will be handled immediately, while others may linger until we get to that specific report. It is the nature of the beast in trying to clean up those complaints that have lingered for years.

There is no more 'x' number of people complaining before a report is handled.

If you have more questions about this process, let me know. My mail is open. Or contact Support. Forum mods have no ability to assist with issues on the profile side of the site.

Remember folks, not everyone on-line is nice. Many will send messages just to get a reaction. The best reaction is to report and block.

I don't self hate. I'm proud to be black even though I'm a slave, in fact this is my alter ego. The only reason I don't like you black women is because you are self haters, as a light skin black male who's 1/4 white I've been praised by dark women and haerd dark women asy,"I WANT MY KIDS TO LOOK LIKE U IMMA GET ME A WHITE MAN" while they sit on welfare, run from responsbility, etc.

but they are when you are a black male on higher status as I am they are.M aybe in the hood I give it to you black women got it there lol."

This isn't the flavor of racism I'm used to. To me, racism is a clear dislike of a specific race or races. His response is more like a mix of confusion, stupidity, and weirdness coupled with a strange fixation on race.

1. "I'm proud to be black." Nothing to be proud of or ashamed about. That's not an accomplishment, but an accident of birth.

2. "I'm a slave." I've known a few slaves, and they do not spout nonsense to people. They're very aware that they represent their Dom/me, even if it's one yet to come.

3. "The only reason I don't like you black women is because you are self haters" Huh?

4. "as a light skin black male who's 1/4 white I've been praised by dark women" If you're a man and you get praised for your skin color, you have no other redeeming qualities.

5. "haerd dark women asy,"I WANT MY KIDS TO LOOK LIKE U IMMA GET ME A WHITE MAN" while they sit on welfare, run from responsbility, etc." Lord, I hope this isn't the case. Welfare mothers that value white skin.

6. "white women look better" Bull.

7. "i love myself so much i rather date a black girl my skin color" That's not self love, and skin color is not a criterion to date by.

8. "but they are when you are a black male on higher status as I am they are.M aybe in the hood I give it to you black women got it there lol." He can't write and can't think clearly. He refers to skin color as a status issue. Weird.
