What does TPE mean?

As I always understood it Total Power Exchange is not solely limited to the traditional model of Master and slave. For instance TPE in and of itself only defines the amount of power exchanged, not the time period for which it is exchanged. Additionally as opposed to other types of power exchange where limits are set, total power exchange does mean or denote in effect a total exchange of power. Otherwise its not total power exchange, its a limited exchange of power with boundaries and limitations. 24/7 TPE would be by my understanding to be the more traditional Master/slave arrangement in which one becomes collared, with other forms of power exchange falling into different titular distinctions such as D/s or Top/bottom etc.

On the other hand, it would appear that individuals contemplating D/s, even for the duration of BDSM play scenes, use the acronym TPE rather loosely.

Yes I agree, like the other day someone told me their online dom was their 24/7 tpe master...they had yet to so much as meet in real. lol
