When ruffling feathers, please expect to get a few feather fluffs yourself. We moderators do clean up the forums and try to keep some order where order is required, but we don't protect members from their own actions that turn out badly for them.
Asking members for their experiences, especially when it involves the thread starting member's fetish or focused play and adding that you want to hear their experiences, isn't always readily accepted and since you were ruffling feathers, it seems you knew what you were doing.
I would recommend, hanging around, reading a bit, doing a search and not involving members in the things that you're interested in, repeatedly starting threads on the topic and instead, finding your way on the forum by taking part, rather than trying to create what you want. Joining discussions, rather than directing it, until you have found your way.
You are not the first and you will not be the last to have a rough start, as many have and they are still here today. Look before you jump and you should be fine. [;)]
