I have talked to two Dommes today on skype. Both of them seemed pretty nice at first. I could see them in video chat, but did not have audio. After messaging for a little while they ask me to create a profile on another bdsm or dating site, and upgrade to the paid membership. Are these people being paid by those sites? They claim those sites (BDSM.com was one of them) have training tools and are more discrete than skype. I haven't signed up for these other sites. Do any of you know what is going on here? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

It's simple...don't sign up. Why go to where you have to pay money to upgrade when you can stay here and chat with potentials for free? If it smells like a scam, it's a scam. Odds are that is how they make their money or it's a way to get you out of here to milk your bank account like it was a cow.

If the ladies you chat with ask you to go to a paid site, it's a scam. You will waste your money and get nothing in return.

If a member of the Profile side makes you feel uncomfortable or ask you to do something that you question it is probably best to err on the side of caution otherwise you should contact Support.
