Two different border bills. One failed in the House, the other in the Senate. You can read about it HERE

The Senate bill failed because it didn't acquire 60+ votes. That's right boys and girls, the Senate where EVERY bill to pass must be a SUPER MAJORITY (that's 60 votes, not just 50). Remember the 'good old days' of the Senate when 'Super Majorities' were only called on the important stuff, and not....EVERY FREAKING BILL...that came to a vote in the Senate? That's those Obstructive Republicans to blame. The border issue is agreed by both parties to be a real problem that needs real action. But rather than a 'yea' vote of 50%, it needs 60%; because the Republican/Tea Party really is full of complete idiots and total assholes.

The Senate bill is the one created by President Obama and Democrats.

Meanwhile, in the House, the border bill failed because conservatives had problems (what else is new, eh?):

A ) They didn't like the idea that due process is allowed with those that are caught crossing the border. Maybe they should get out their pocket US Constitution and look under the part called 'The fifth amendment'. 'Due Process', is not something that can be ignored, just because its not in the Republican/Tea Party ideology machine. How fast will a lawyer destroy that bullshit in court? Remember DOMA? You know, that other 'we hate this group of people' bill Republican/Tea Partiers created into law?

B ) That President Obama is not being restricted to only do what conservatives dictate. They don't seem to understand that the US President is a separate...AND....equal branch of the US Government. Just because the Republican/Tea Party makes Congress dysfunctional, nothing in the US Constitution states the US President has to follow suit. That might be why they are suing him....he gets stuff accomplished and they don't. Need I remind everyone this is the 2nd least productive US House of Representatives in 238 years? The least being just last year with....that's right....a Republican/Tea Party House!

C ) They want more walls, more border agents, more logistical support....and....cost nothing. That's right, they want lots of stuff, but feel none of it should be paid for. I don't think those Republican/Tea Party members in the House understand how things work. To get what they want, its going to cost a few billion dollars. But, easier for them to torpedo that bill and blame the whole thing on Obama. Why should they have to work hard at a job they only do for 1/2 a year. Wish I could get paid $174K/year, awesome benefits and accomplish absolutely nothing.

The bill in the House was the one created by Republicans.

Remember that when you go to vote in November. Democrats busting their chops to get things accomplished, and the Republican/Tea Party maintains its status of 'The Party of Do Nothing'.
