This the way the CIA does and always has operated. There are those from inside and outside the agency that will quietly tell you the whole Colby thing was a CIA elimination for allowing anything to come out of the Church hearings.

The CIA when it needs be, IS...Murder Inc. and they will lie straight through their teeth, destroy evidence and kill anybody who gets in their way.

I haven't had time to research this much yet so I am curious. Is this the worst thing possible, because it happened while Bush was president? Or is it pretty much nothing, because it happened under Obama.

it seems it's not a matter of what administration was in charge as the same people covering their asses during this administration were there during the former one. The problem is giving a bunch of persons absolute power with no supervision.

Not true

The CIA chain of command goes straight to the president, with congressional oversight

Now, if you are talking about the IRS or the DOJ, apparently those agencies have absolutely no one in charge

They've gone totally rogue
