yes it is...fun...lots of fun, until you put it away, and should a couple of months pass, you could find that the rubber around the chin strap has degraded...soooooo be careful with lube and or spermicide(from condom use), wash it and wrap it in tissue paper, keep it in the dark away from heat sources and NOT with any other toys.
The core is a thick...rubber but spongy core , the chin strap, is flexible, its not harsh on the user (unless you have facial hair, it can catch/roll) or the ridee.
I dont have a clue on continuous use over a period of time, but the kind of rubber/latex it is is not the best quality. and will degrade if you dont store it correctly.
