A Virginia medical examiner has ruled the death of former White House press secretary James Brady a homicide resulting from the 1981 assassination attempt against President Ronald Reagan, a Washington police spokesman said on Friday. http://news.yahoo.com/death-reagan-press-secretary-james-brady-ruled-homicide-215441292.html

Yes, shit storm started! But come on. Shot in 1981 and died in 2014.... from the gunshot??? Used his crippled body all of these years for a political agenda, now using his still warm corpse for the same purpose by any means and stretch of the imagination necessary.

Had Hinkley not shot him in the head while trying to assassinate Reagan, he wouldn't have died from complications related to being shot. Why should Hinkley get a free skate when what he did caused some man to die? Whether it was death at the moment of being shot or dying 33 years later, the guy still suffered for the rest of his life because of what Hinkley did to him. His death was ruled a homicide by the medical examiner. If this is the case, why does Brady not deserve justice just because he had the audacity not to die in 1981?

For the same reason Hinckley got a "free skate" for shooting Reagan. It was ruled that he was legally insane at the time of the crime. This means that they can't go after him for murder without nullifying the insanity ruling for everyone.

Wouldn't this actually be the anti-gun lobby at work?
