ORIGINAL: shouldiQmark A technical question maybe. I see a profile on collar space that interests me. Compose a thoughtful message after reading the profile, press send, and a message comes back 'user profile not found'. What does that mean? the user noticed me looking, checked me out, decided they didn't like what they saw, and blocked me before I could send the message? That's a bit unnecessary surely? A polite thanks but no thanks is better surely? Mark. 1. As others have said, the message got through. 2. Don't get worried/upset if people block you or don't respond. They don't owe you anything. Most people don't bother with the "thanks but no thanks" because they don't want to open up the door to pleas, tirades and the like from someone they're not interested in. 3. No matter how well crafted your message, you can expect a high rate of non response. That's just the nature of online.
