My dying ass you lying bastard, you go pull it up, start at before the war, I said at that time no way WMD, no way terrorists being trained by Saddam, no way we should go in there. But since we DID, now what, gotta deal what greets you on your doorstep. Then I specifically stated that the Kurds will be the actual problem in there. Withdraw thru the Kurdish areas into Turkey and get the fuck out of dodge. (this was right after we went in) And I quote 'Stand Saddam up, brush off his lapels, and say sorry, here is a few million for your troubles buddy) and still it went on, and I said we will not ever win that war, and we will be visiting the terrorism onto our grandchildren unto the seventh generation. The only way out of that is to flatten that motherfucking toilet, and murder every last man, woman and child in that country.

Use the keywords, look me up. I said it, and we may have had a conversation about getting the exit right, but that was many years ago and at that time, and way before 'Mission Accomplished' or the 'surge that worked'. Changing events bring changing prescriptions. You are the dishonest one here. We were both against Iraq, and I have said so repeatedly. You were also against Afghanistan, I not so much as a way to deal with our 'quasi-friends' in Pakistan, and I think I said something along the lines of bomb them flat, do a Darth Vader, grab up the head turban, and say deliver me OBL by 4 or I start digging a hole. Shoot the fucker, point out a guy and say..you are in charge.

So, you try to effect a smear by impugnation, you dishonest fuck, like you are not some shitbreather spewing nutsackerisms. But you are at your core a fucking felcher, you dishonest and disingenous fuck.

I didn't even own a 'puter, when we first went into Iraq, so it was a bit later on. Post surge, I'm sure, but the search here ain't all that and I've got better uses of my time than wading through pages of you, Julia, and her BF.

Like I told Joether, there is going to be plenty of time to discuss President Obama taking us into Iraq War III.

If that's the case, we have to go after them in Syria too. But Syria is supported by Russia. And Russia lately has a way of not playing nice. And Iran and Russia are tight too.

Given the President's second term is nearly half way over, there isn't much time left to talk. The President is well aware of the toll Iraq and Afghanistan took on this nation (most especially the families of those in the military). That there will not be a rush into Iraq for a third time (unlike former President G. W. Bush). We might go in and we might not. This nation is still replenishing its resources from the last encounter over there, thanks to a bunch of people in the White House (***COUGH***Bush Administration***COUGH****). Maybe its some other nation's turn to handle yet....another psycho....in the Middle East. Like Saudi Arabia, Russia, or even China. They all talk tough, let's see 'em in action.

Its funny how much bullshit your shoveling to get a Republican to win 2016, without said Republican opening their mouth or taking any action.

Its not the President's job to run and operate the Middle East. And if Bush Junior and his White House didn't do so many stupid things in Iraq, maybe this whole issue would not have happened. But we cant worry about the 'what ifs' and instead deal with the reality. The President is allowed to deploy special forces to a limited degree. In fact, he can deploy US Military forces on a limited basis as well.

John McCain did not lose in 2008 because of Iraq. He lost because his focus was on Iraq, terror, and Afghanistan; when the nation's attention was on their wallets, jobs, and the economy.

You seem a bit out of your depth without talking points, Joether.

Bush II, with a great deal of help from a partisan media, created a 2008 electoral climate so bad for Republicans that a first term Democrat Senator with a smooth line of bullshit could get himself elected. The electorate has now had 5 1/2 years to be reminded the Democrats aren't much good at following through on their promises, and cannot be trusted with foreign policy. I'm not ready to say no Democrat will be able to win in '16 yet, but a serious course correction will be needed to prevent that. You can bet that President Obama calling ISIS (Islamic Savages In the Sand?) the "junior varsity" is going to show up again and again.

The 2016 Dem is going to have to carry that baggage, or dump it back on Obama, hard.

Of course that nutsackerism is going to show up again and again, but as is everything with the nutsackers, lies. He never said that.

And that climate and the 5 1/2 years has shown that republicans do not follow thru on anything, and are profoundly inept, and they are getting no closer to the presidency.
