Tis a very sad day indeed.........it's a shame that yahoo news couldn't get their facts right though.......Syd and David Gilmore were not co-founders of Pink Floyd........it was Syd and Roger Waters that founded THE FLOYD.
 
May Syd finally rest in peace and make beautiful music again in heaven.

Of course my best memory of the bad is they stays at a hotel I used to work in many many years ago. They were eating in the resturant and the manager asked them "who was Mr. Floyd". She told me this and I almost peed my pants that night... Grins.
He will be missed.

Take care Syd on the Dark side of the Moon.

We're down to one Beatle left and now Pink Floyd has already begun another domino effect of a great band. I guess that's life but the music will always continue to play in my house.

I grew up on Floyd.  I'd like to think that in some ways their music shaped who I am.  For that, thanks, Syd.
