I lost someone very recently and I'm still trying to comprehend it. My heart is aching, literally aching - it is a physical pain. This person made the world a better place, and my life was better because of him. I'm sure many other lives were better because he was a part of this world.

Hug someone, call someone, let someone know you care because you really really never know when the last time you spoke will be the very last time.

So true and thank you for the reminder, tomorrow might never come for a loved one or for you. I call or text my 2 sons every day, check up on them, their families and tell them I love them. I do the same with my mom and sister and text ((slut hugs)) to my best friend which is our terms of endearment to each other. Master and I never go to sleep angry or upset with each other.

To Live in the Hearts of Those Left Behind is to Live Forever. That's a quote that helped me when my dad passed away, I hope it can bring a little comfort to you. When someone passes, they are only gone from your sight, they're never gone from your heart, soul and mind.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathies to you.

Losing someone is never easy and the struggles for those left behind are numerous. If I may be so bold, it sounds like this person was very giving of himself and touched people in a positive way. This is someone to be mourned for the loss, but celebrated for their heart and who they were.

Hang in there.

Thank you Gauge and InHisHeart for your kind words. It is so hard to comprehend how someone who was so much larger than life itself could be gone so suddenly. I consider myself blessed that he was in my life for the time I knew him and I hope he realized how much he meant to those around him, and how much he meant to me. How quickly things can change your world forever.
