Heed not his howls of pain and promise vain
To be obedient ever more, but beat
Him long and let unceasing whip strokes rain
Until he can but sobbing wordless bleat

False hope from little pause then start again
To flay and thrash with sovereignty complete
And underline your harshest strictest rein
That leaves him lifeless helpless at your feet.

Then watch him softly meekly lick your toes
And hear his gently whispered gratitude
Flow with his loving tears which humbly plead

Permit his mistress whip to kiss. He shows
His welted flesh in prostrate attitude
And whining begs his mistress to proceed.
