Before we met in-person, we talked on-line and by phone for a few months before we actually met and waiting to meet was due to 500+ miles between us. I had feelings for him before we met but I don't put much stock in feelings for someone you only know by on-line and by phone.
The first time we met was for a week at his beach house in NJ, I did feel like I was in-love with him then but only a week together, I needed more time to know if it was love or infatuation or living out a fantasy we built up over the months talking. For me to really know if it's love comes after spending time together and really getting to know all of the person.
I can't say where I fell in love with him but I can say when I realized I was in-love with him and that was when I traveled to NC to stay with him for a few months. The day I had to leave to drive back to PA, I totally lost it and fell apart in his arms, that's when I knew I was in-love with him. He held it together for my sake but I could see the sadness in his eyes when I was leaving. I'll never forget his words to me that day, he said..........don't cry sugar, you'll be coming back home to me real soon.
Being with him all day, every day for those months, seeing all sides of him, the great sides and the things about him that annoy me, how he treats me all the time, seeing how he handles different parts of his life, good times and not so good times, stresses, disappointments, etc., and still wanting to be in his life every day, wanting and willing to relocate to be with him, I knew then that it was the real deal.
Why I fell in-love is because of who he is, everything about him. I can't pinpoint one, two or ten things about him for the reasons I'm in-love with him, it's everything that makes him who he is.
