Islamic State isnt a country you fucking idiot. The fact you are too stupid to distinguish between a terrorist group and your bullshit claim they are somehow a country, doesnt mean the rest of us dont get it.

Think of this, "polite" They wouldn't be the country that they are, and you wouldn't have to go berserk trying to deny that reality had Barack Obama attended his daily intelligence briefings over time He could have been aware of them and easily nipped ISIS in the bud before they got so large and powerful

It might help if just once, maybe 1 in 1000 times, you responded to correction and said -- "You're right." (Regarding Polite) How exactly is ISIS Obama's fault? I know this is the right wing position, but this is not in our hemisphere. Next, the roots of ISIS lay with the BUSH administration (De-baathification, Abu Ghraib, dismantling the IRAQI army, installing Maliki over Patreus' objections, the blackwater fiasco -- that made IRAQIs want us to leave in toto), not the Obama administration. Is it your contention that the US military is still responsible for IRAQ's security 11 years after our invasion? Aren't you the one who says, "don't feed the bears" b/c it creates dependency?" IRAQ, IRAN, and the other surrounding countries need so sort this out. Big Government, US intervention will not solve the problem.... in fact in this case Big Government is the problem.

Again, Barack himself admitted that Iraq was sovereign, stable, and self reliant years after Bush was no longer on the scene Joe Biden said that Iraq was one of his and Baracks greatest achievements You can try to claim that Bush is still president if you really must, but I doubt anyone believes that

The country I live in and Malaysia forces everybody who is of the Malay Race to be Muslims. They do not have a choice. All other races like caucasians, east asians, indians are not native to Malaysia and Singapore so they are not subjected to be compulsory Muslims. Only native race are forced by this stupid policy. So if you are unfortunate to be born to that specific race, or if just one of your mom or dad is unfortunate to be of that race, you are forced to be a Muslim for life, you can't convert out ever. And will be regulated by their religious police and subjected to Sharia Law, which is like a whole different governing department from civil law.

Two other countries like Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. Unless you are visitor or a non-citizen, you must be a Muslim if you are citizen. Probably a few more with such governing laws. So many extremist Muslim countries out there. Qatar too!

It's not a matter of claims but facts. So your answer is: (1) Yes -- THE USA IS STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR IRAQ'S SECURITY 11 YEARS AFTER ITS INVASION. (2) US BIG GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION IS THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM. You make weak case by being so partisan and ahistorical. I'd still like to know if you've ever traveled outside the USA, where you went, and if at any time you ever learned a foreign language. Do you even own a passport? I ask because you really really really sound like Sarah Palin.

Has it occurred to you, that you shouldnt have supported a huge war hawk like Barack Obama, if you're so hell bent in favor of the wholesale torture, rape, and slaughter of millions of innocent civilians, and the further spread of the Islamist death cult? Because Barack Obama and I are essentially in agreement about this, hence we are already at war against ISIS. Obama even admitted that he should have been more vigilant early on, just as I maintain. He should have done more against ISIS early on, before they grew into a full fledged nation state. Applied an ounce of prevention, rather than play so much golf.

Part of the reason why IS grew into the position of strength it holds today is that everyone was focusing on Al Quada for so long. AQ has been public enemy #1 since 9/11. In the ensuing decade, AQ has been more or less eliminated as a major force. IS has shot to prominence by filling the vacuum left by AQ in Islamist ranks. So as soon as one Islamist faction is eliminated as a military threat, another one arises to take its place. The lesson here is that there is no military victory available against the forces of Islamism. For Islamism to suffer a decisive defeat, a more comprehensive strategy is needed, one that addresses the political situation that enables extremist groups to appear attractive to sections of the ME populations. This means far more than organising an Iraqi Govt responsive to the needs of all its citizens - it means getting to grips with the fundamental factors that have been destabilising the entire region for decades. Sadly there are few signs on the horizon that suggest this lesson has been learnt in the capitals of the West. Blaming Obama for the failures of bipartisan US policies towards the region is nitpicking at best. Until this lesson is learnt there is little likelihood of an overall victory over Islamist ideologies.

I will spell it out for you: US Middle East policy is bipartisan. There are minor differences of emphasis between the GOP and the Dems in some areas but these are insignificant compared to the agreement on all the major points. So it really doesn't matter who is in the White House, foreign policy remains largely the same. The policy is in ruins and has been for a considerable period of time. Changing the President without changing the policy will accomplish nothing. So it's pointless to blame any one individual (though Bush the Dumber made a determined [and largely successful] effort to trash the US's reputation and status all on his own initiative). In short the problem is a broken policy not the competence of the individual in the White House. This situation is unlikely to change until such time as the US develops a new foreign policy that puts US interests ahead of all others, is securely based on principles that won't alienate the vast majority of the region's inhabitants, has clearly articulated goals and a realistic strategy to achieve those goals.

ISIS is just another franchise of al Qaeda, as is Juhbat al Nursa. They are all Wahhabi and they have been around for hundreds of years. Nobody allowed Wahhabis to grow in numbers, the numbers were their all along and just needed a little fine tuning. They have been supported and armed by the West and drip fed by Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Understand Wahhabism and it won't take long to work out that these people are the wealthiest militant groups in the world and our present intervention is merely an irritating itch.

@US BIG GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION IS THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM. What Government intervention? what military solution? Its not like they have anything to aim at. ISIS clearly isn’t a monolithic organization. ISIS on the other hand are desperate to drag us in. The beheadings were an invitation for us to do just that.
