I'd not go "at least" with the Jets...they are a laughing stock, and rightfully so. At least my Pats are in the same division and get to play them twice this season. *s* It wasn't all that long ago when all us older JETS fans used to see the Pattypats on the schedule and mark down two "W"s Screen captures (and pissing on shadows) still RULE! Ya feel me? I will give you the fact that no matter how bad the Jets are, they always play the Pats tough. Though, the "wasn't that long ago..." part of your post.... early to mid-90's perhaps? Guess it's not too long in geological terms... *s* Saw a great line in an article this morning... "to call the Jets QBs bad is an insult to bad quarterbacks everywhere". It's a sad commentary when people are lauding Rex Ryan for his 8-8 job last year "considering what he had to work with". I feel about the Jets like I do about the US Congress. Just get rid of them all, top to bottom, and start over. Can't do much worse than what you have now. I've been a Pats fan (much to my Jets fan father's chagrin) since the early Steve Grogan days. I remember as a kid going to games at Shea Stadium and getting (mostly good natured) heckles as I wore my Pats regalia in the days that they sucked. I cried when they lost the Super Bowl to the Bears. As bad as the Pats have been in the past, I don't recall a time when there was a ridiculous insistence to force the square peg into the round hole...for years on end. Between Ryan and Idzik (the GM, can never remember his name) and of course, the illustrious Woody (lol, almost misspelled his name "Woosy")...there's just no clue. Sure, all teams go through "rebuilding periods", but generally there's some sort of light at the end of the tunnel.
