Blonderfluff -> The Tattooed Lady (9/16/2014 7:12:15 PM)

So I just got my largest tattoo so far...6 hours of ink, and I loved it. I do not identify as a masochist at any level. But there is something about getting a tattoo that is such a huge buzz for me. Pun intended. It's just about healed, and I'm finding myself scouring the net, looking at tats, scheming my next one.

My post is a two part question. What are everyone's thoughts on women and tattoos??? And if I'm not a masochist, why do I love the high that I seem to get? By the 3rd hour, I'm shaky, a little weak in the knees, and completely hyper-aware. It's unlike anything else, save maybe childbirth, which I also loved.

Also, I'd love to hear about everyone else tat experiences. Good and bad.

I have a few tats and I want one more. Every time I get one I say that's it, then a year or so later I say just one more and the beat goes on, they can be addictive. I love the sensation and I get very relaxed while getting them. I am a masochist but I know people who aren't and they enjoy the sensation. The part I hate is the healing process when they get itchy.

Domnotlooking -> RE: The Tattooed Lady (9/16/2014 7:31:25 PM)

I hate tattoo's on a woman with a passion (but would defend, blah, blah, blah).

That said, I had my partner's lower labia pierced with a ring. I have her initial tattooed over my left tit.

A big tattoo would make me curious about a women and respect her ballsiness and independence, but I'd still hate it, hypocrite that I am.

MistressLaRoux -> RE: The Tattooed Lady (9/16/2014 7:34:49 PM)

I have LOTS of ink. I do it for ME and for no other reason. My body is my canvas, and I have had several sessions with people who appreciate them as much as I. I have also had sessions with people who "Hate" tattoos on women...and yet they still willingly serve me.

Can't please everyone, so please yourself!!!

Not a maso either, but getting tats feels damned good. I've only got one, but I do want some more.

shiftyw -> RE: The Tattooed Lady (9/16/2014 7:51:19 PM)

FR
Tatt'd ladies are sexy as fuck.

I do identify as a maso on some level. I was so scared getting my first and only (but that will be remedied). I thought I wouldn't be able to handle it cause I hate needles- but to me it isn't really needle like- getting pierced was WAY harder.

I loved the fucking process. I would have them everywhere if it were possible and logical. I want a longer one, mine only took about 40 minutes or so and I was sad when it was over and I was SO TURNED ON. I got it on an "easy place" though.

I love mine. Mine is a little "Ralph Steadman" bat from Fear and Loathing. My roomie got the same, she's my best friend and I love how it reminds me of our time together. Ralph Steadman is one of my favorite artists.

I want to see pics of everyone's! So I'll start with mine.

Shifty
Mine is in between, and beneath "the girls". NOT an easy place. I'll see if I can get a pic with no nip. :)

Love yours. We never forget our first tattoo

I want that place next.
I'd like to keep all mine pretty well hidden- and that would be a great spot for me, but I think I have to finish losing weight before I get any others. With my current one nothing really matters cause I don't gain weight there- but anywhere else I'm afraid I'd ruin the tattoo.

Blonderfluff -> RE: The Tattooed Lady (9/16/2014 8:12:14 PM)

I want to start my back piece next. I think it's gonna take a year or two to finish.

Shifty, you have mail.

igor2003 -> RE: The Tattooed Lady (9/16/2014 8:25:55 PM)

It looks like I'm the exception, rather than the rule. I think a small tattoo in a private location that is normally covered by a bikini and only shared with an S.O. is sexy as hell on a woman. Any more than that, to me, seems more like graffiti rather than art. It hides the true beauty of a woman. Just my opinion.

P.S. I'm not a big fan of tats on anyone...male or female.

shiftyw -> RE: The Tattooed Lady (9/16/2014 8:30:47 PM)

I really love the colors! Its gorgeous!

CreativeDominant -> RE: The Tattooed Lady (9/16/2014 8:44:32 PM)

I agree with shifty. I love the way your tat looks, blonde one...For how fine and detailed the piece is, there's no sloppiness. And the design is pretty, especially with that jewelry-like piece in the middle.

Of course, I can ONLY give my final seal of approval with a taste test....errrr...touch test...errrr...visual. Yeah...that's it...purely aesthetic reasons, you understand. ~NODS~

Bring it to me, wench.[;)]

It's not like Willy Wonka's wallpaper. The snozberries don't taste like snozberries. Isn't it winter in your state already??? Brrrrrr.

I'll be the judge of their taste...ummm...feel...visual appeal.

Winter? Silly wench of blonde, it is summer still. At the Car Show here this weekend...fallharvestcarshow.org (shameless plug)...it will be 80.

Very nice tat Blonderfluff

I have a snake on the base of my spine which I had 10 years ago when I was working as a piercer in a tattoo shop. I had always said I wouldn't have a tat but when your working with them every day, curiosity gets the better of you. For me it was so frigging painful I nearly couldn't go through with it. I'm glad I did though because its an awesome tat.

I've got various brands, not submissive brands but artistic art work brands and I didn't find them nearly as painful as being tattooed. They are thin white lines along my shoulders and down my back. They can barely be seen in the winter months but once I get the sun on my body they show up. People stop and admire them all the time.

ThePrincessKali -> RE: The Tattooed Lady (9/17/2014 3:22:33 AM)

Love tattoos! Am currently working on my sleeve. I'm almost halfway done, one more session and then I'm moving into my upper arm. I don't particularly enjoy the actual process of getting tattooed. Hearing the buzz of the machine gives me an adrenaline rush but usually they just hurt. Not an unbearable amount of pain but I wouldn't consider it pleasant. But I love the way they look so the minor pain is totally worth it for the art. I think they can be pretty addictive. I went from a small one on the back of my neck to ones covered easily by clothes to getting ones that are almost always visible. I think tattoos are sexy as hell and I definitely prefer my men to be heavily tattooed.

In terms of questioning the professionalism of tattoos or if tattooed people can have professional jobs, I think they absolutely can. I remember a specific time when I met a woman in her mid 40s with full sleeves on both arms. She pulled into a high end shop in a trendy neighborhood in LA in a very pricy BMW with a little girl, who we found out later was her daughter. My friend completed her tattoos and she said, "When I turned 40 all of my friends were getting Botox and plastic surgery. I got tattooed." She ended up being the VP of a very high end company in LA. I also saw a doctor at my local hospital with tattoos on his arms. So I think that anyone can have tattoos and it doesn't make them any less professional or intelligent. I love mine and that's all that matters.
