Status: offline 		doubt theres anyway to answer this just an observation, but Dominant women seem to be a northern or western pattern its as if the south is lacking, just thought it was weird...

or how most younger domes are in it for money while a lot of older are for relationships...

cant catch a break, but maybe one day an older dome might take me in!!!

I've known and talked to quite a few in the south...I happen to be in the south. I know patience isn't a big thing on here, but to find what you are looking for and not just settle, that's what you're going to have to be. Status: offline 		appreciate the advice, ive been searching for about two years and no realistic matches have came in contact, I don't know if that's relatively a short amount of time to find a partner in the lifestyle or im just approaching it wrong.

but anyways im may take you up on the advice or questions, thanks again!!

Status: offline 		women in the west tend to have more attitude, ive noticed that as well. the guys too out west are more assertive, thats probably because the cost of living is so much higher on average you are going to come across more aggressive money minded people. however as you get older you realize how tiring all those games can be and the idea of paying some boy to smile and do what you want is more appealing, both sexes do it... my great grandmother is in her 90's and totes around some middle age guy "dear where is my purse, goodness you are so slow" .... actually a big driving force in my life was not turning into the women of my family. it's hard to find people in their 20's-30's who aren't going to be driven by the "just one more scam and i'll make it big" mentality.... sadly so manly people bring that mentality into all their interations.

Status: offline 		No not really a long or short period, just because of the nature of this lifestyle you get a lot of "fantasy" people and those that want money to "help" you. It's that way on both sides of the fence. Tons to weed through and analyze, I'm trying to do just like I'm telling you...just gotta wait for "that one" in a million...lol

Status: offline 		I'm sort of from the South, but to be honest I am just a "transplant" due to work... I am originally from Michigan.

Also, is 23 considered in the younger Domme bracket? Of course, I am not really here looking for subs, just looking for people to talk to. I do have a sub who lives with me, and he doesn't pay me, if that means anything.

That's about the best advice you're going to find here. Strangely enough, one thing that seems to emerge in almost every location is groups of people who are trying to coordinate activities with each other. It's how you find out that someone in some weird hole in the wall area of the world might actually just have a group of kink minded people who might very much be like you. And if not exactly into your thing, at least you know there are welcoming people who are less likely to condemn you for your thoughts than if you tried to hook up with a group of people at your local church.

Hmmm, it's unfortunate you've had that experience. I know lots of successful and hard working people in my age bracket. They are not big on social networks and they prefer books to television if that deduces part of the contrast.
Just genuinely good people who never gave up and went through the responsible side of life early to play later (not too much later.)

To OP; You're young and relatively handsome, if I were you I'd network between here and fetlife for play partners to decide if this lifestyle is for you and even seek for a local girl using an app like tinder who is open minded, bossy or has a bit of a dominant streak. Shouldn't be that hard to find a bitchy gf and to leave a riding crop laying around suggestively. Also if she is vanilla, I'd go slow like a riding crop and pair of cuffs for starters and then expand from there or you can get into doing her laundry, the dishes, etc. Domestic tasks.
The munches are good if you're not introverted like me and don't mind mixing food and kink.

Hmm ... there are more Dommes listed in Florida than I can count from outer states ... thinking Florida IS south of most US States.

And yes, mature Ladies DO make better Dommes ... in my opinion

Culturally, Florida isn't in the south. Maps be damned. The state's full of out of state transplants, and the running gag is that the further south you go in Florida, the further "north" you are culturally speaking. So it's not a big shock to find a concentration of dommes here.

Status: offline 		Florida is NOT the south. Florida is for Yankees who tried to move south, and overshot the mark. Just like California is not the West; it is easterners who tried to move west and went too far. I say this as an Atlanta native who lives in Florida.
