So I stabbed her, accidentally... on our anniversary.

Sep 18th was our 2nd collaring anniversary and our 1st wedding anniversary. I married her one year to the day after collaring her. We gave each other flowers and cards. She gave me an engraved wallet/money clip that says. "Master 9/18/12". It says Master instead of husband because for us, the marriage is an extension of the M/s collaring, not the other way around. The marriage certificate is more like a property receipt.

We had a wonderful day, a home cooked meal and toasted our good life with a bottle of bubbly. Then for desert I decided to stay home and torture her until her masochistic little heart was overflowing. I even let her pick out some of her fav gear.

I love knives and blood sport cutting... so does she. So I "invited her to get on the cross at knife point". I had the knife at her throat and turned her around to face the cross. My cross has mouse hole shaped cut outs for foot rests so you can face the cross comfortably. They are elevated a few inches off the floor. I was reaching down to prod her up onto the cross by slapping the inside of her calf with the knife blade. Just as I swung the blade to slap her, she anticipated my desire for her to mount the cross and lifted her leg . . . into the oncoming knife.

All these years I have been sadistically saying "don't worry, I have a surgical stapler and can staple you back together" to invoke fear during knife play. Now it finally happened. Whether you are into edge play or not, accidents happen. It's how you deal with them that counts. She was a trooper. She said, "Ouch" as blood was pouring down her leg onto the foot rest.

While working on her leg, she said, "now there is an anniversary story. If anyone asks what you did for our anniversary, I can tell them you stabbed me". As you can see in the pictures below, it was bad enough to need stitches and the scar would have screwed up her tattoo . . . so stapled her back together. She is healing very well. I will take the staples out next weekend and pick up the torture where we left off when she is healed up enough to play rough again.

I normally keep a suture kit, burn cream, pain pills, EMS scissors and all the standard stuff in my first aid box. The stapler is actually part of my medical play gear. What accident preparations do you have? Got an "oops" story to share?

If I was really hardcore I would tossed salt in the wound and made it part of the scene. Or I would have poured alcohol in her wound and cauterized it to stop the bleeding so we could keep playing instead of stopping and using peroxide and staples to repair her. I'm just a big softy.

Just sayin'

LOLOL ResidentSadist, honestly I find that tale both sweet and funny. (Is that strange?) I'm completely jealous to be honest, it looks like you have quite the collection of play toys and a wonderful dynamic. You kind of jinxed yourself with your funny little saying, no?
You gave her koi character eh? And she's a tough gal to let ya dress her wound after the accidental inflicting of it.
I think male Ds have little to no issue finding what I deem to be just amazing sub candidates and if I had been born with a penis (blatant penis envy), my prospects may be far better and pursuit of a perfect dynamic that much easier. The cuckie has already possibly gone down in flames with inappropriate dialogue I found just too offensive to allow to ensue. I allowed him to give me a MASSAGE for cripes sakes and he acts like we went through a kama sutra novel together. My fault for spoiling him I guess? LOL
The worst ouchie story I have is one I have already told with my little birthday boy. I hogtied him, clothespinned him about two dozen times, I mean they were completely covered and he kept reassuring me he was perfectly fine, I was impressed. Well... we had both been out drinking for his birthday, it was the wee hours of the morning when we finally got into any play time and I found it hilarious that instead of typical toys, we strictly used household items and uh...miscellaneous things.
Well somehow we ended up both falling asleep, (he is still hogtied and clothespinned) and he tries to shift his position somehow in his sleep and the clothespins go FLYING OFF, literally all at once like a domino effect! LOL.
The next morning he was rubbing his crotch while we went to get coffee and was apparently extremely pleased with said encounter. What a trooper!
PS; I do have a standard first aid kit but to be honest a lot of these sub guys can't even handle a bit of asphyxiation, maybe a bit of cbt but nothing too crazy. Nothing that would require intense after care. I think your girl wins the kick ass award.

Ouch.

But you are right, accidents do happen. It's how you handle them that matters.

My late husband stabbed me in the side one time, by accident, during some knife play. He said don't move, I moved.

It tickled

But, it was an accident, LOL.

Taught me not to move

Thank you for sharing your birthday boy story. Falling asleep while being tortured in bondage? He sounds like a trooper indeed.

I certainly felt jinxed when I actually had to use the stapler after threatening to do so for so many years. I was in the medical field so I grabbed a stapler very early in life. I have been saying that for a very long time. I have also been collecting gear since the 70s and do have moderately diverse collection.

And this is why posters like you are so completely vital for boards like this.

You roll in a way different way to me, but the fact that you can tell us about an accidental stabbing and a home brew (albeit qualified, given your past experience) wound stapling, and make it a love story makes my fucking day.

Ooo! Toe holes! I will be talking to my builder about including that feature in future builds.

It sounds like your safety kit is well stocked. Mine... Sutures, staples, bandages and alcohol/peroxide are part of my medical play kit. I guess that counts, since that's where all my sharps are. EMS scissors are in the rope bag, also. I try to keep relevant safety items with their kinky gear as applicable, in addition to a standard first aid kit with bandaids, aspirin, ointment, and etc..

~FR cuz it's trendy.

I addition to well stocked med kits, I've noticed no one has mentioned a backhoe, lye, 10k in cash, numbered account, and three different passports. I mean, if you're going to be safety conscious, you should go all out, right?

~FRing it~

Nothing screams romantic sentimental good times more than being shanked in the leg and then lovingly stapled back together again

If you can't stab the ones you love every now and then, what's the point?

It is a love story. We are well paired in our relationship emotionally, sexually and in kink. She is an extreme sexual masochist and I am an edgy sexual sadist. She delights in my tortures and swoons when I give her cards and flowers. So we get on pretty well.

As far as owning and sharing my mistakes... well, I'm fallible and have no shame in it. It was an odd situation and when she said, "you stabbed me for our anniversary" it seemed unusual enough of a story to share... so I told both aspects of the accident. Glad it made your day.

As far as the stapling goes, it beat the inconvenient alternative of going to hospital for stitches. I worked in and owned medical clinics through the 70s and 80s. My dad was a doctor and she works as a lab tech currently. With both our medical backgrounds, we were completely comfortable cleansing the wound, dressing it with betadine, closing with staples, applying triple antibiotic ointment and dressing it with a bandage.

The foot rests (toe holes) really make a major difference in comfort and stability. It lets you rest your body and your legs against the cross and your feet flat. Notice the foot rest is at a 90 degree angle to the cross not the floor. So there is less stress on your feet during all the wiggles and jiggles of impact play play because your whole body is flat against the cross and feet are at the proper angle. People say they can play longer because the stability and comfort extends their endurance. Here is a close up so your builder can see the design better.

[ETA] The black stuff in the foot rest is no slip stair tape. That way if you sweat (or bleed) you still have a good grip.

Lovely.

Don't think that I would ever leave a gash to be treated by a "home stapling kit". The ER may be "inconvenient", but last I looked, the person who staples your leg is going to have some sort of credentials that don't date back to the 70's and 80's. And those are probably going to be more than the ambiguous..."I owned a couple of medical clinics".

If you both agreed, that's great. Just would hate for someone to think that this is actually a GOOD idea.

Yes it's all fun and games until someone has to get their leg stapled shut. Master has joked since i met him. Good thing we bought the stapler at Beyond Leather two years ago. We didn't play with it like we thought we would because it just doesn't hurt enough. Well now "don't worry I have a stapler" isn't a joke any more. It is still funny though. We would have just thrown down an old towel for me to bleed on and kept playing except that he wanted to try to not have a scar through the middle of my tattoo. Master is such a giver. He really is a romantic sweetheart as well as a wicked sadist. I'm sure I will be punished for telling. . If He really had wanted to torture me, He would have made me go get stitches. Forcing me to do it would be the only way i was going to the emergency room where they have sick people just to get 5 stitches. But it was our anniversary, so instead of torturing me, He beat my ass while i was laying down resting my leg. Is it any wonder i love this man so much.

It is the most comfortable cross i have been on. It's not the first time i have bled on that cross, just the first that we needed to stop to staple me. The only thing i would possible change about the design is that i would make the foot rests just a little bit longer. The front edge of them stops at the ball of my foot and after a couple hours of toe wiggling, the piggies start to go to sleep because the wood is cutting off the circulation to them. That is easily solved though, by turning me around and then i have to face what is coming at me. But then i can gaze lovingly into Master's eyes as He tortures my tits, etc.

Thank you for the close-up, and the extra details.

And now, back to the mushy thread of love.
