I have a roku, best money I've spent in a long time. You pay for what you want, but with about a zillioon options for free you don't need to pay for much. I only pay for netflix cuz my mom is a TV junkie. Roku is not good for white noise TV people, it's great for snuggling in and watching a movie or binge watching a series.

You should browse the Roku site and netflix. Some stations require a subscription, a lot of them are free.

Impatient's costs. If you are a big channel surfing tv person, Roku is not the device for you. However, if you are a turn on a movie and unwind type, it's perfect.

I am a knowwht you like put it on the que list record it and then come watch when you wish. Rarely do i guide surf, but i do some of that. Sometimes i like to just hunt for a movie and watch from netflix. Or gorge on a series they have and i haven't seen much of. Like drop dead diva.

If you do not park in front of the TV and actually do queue your movies, go explore the Roku site. I have about 50 movie channels.
