I think he's sexy as hell. I've seen them live and he's a wiggling slinking sexy little fox. That being said, the stalking in it is pretty glorified and creepy. the nudity and bloody make out is HOT though.

Too bad the band's lame pop music and joyful contrapuntal boy band vocals ruined a good video. It is a great video concept and camera work... they worked hard to capture that dark industrial gore ambiance of Hostel and Saw by using butchered meat, naked women and blood. Very, very nice. But that whiny little boy band voice singing about "hunting you down like an animal" just ruined it. . . . . animal... huh, a little white mouse maybe.

[:D] I have to say, I didn't like them all that much until I saw them live (Guster, a band I like was opening for them...and I ended up at the show...). I thought it was going to be all crap- like the studio effect would be off and they'd sound like garbage... but instead they were tight, exciting, and excellent musicians. I have respect for them now...and he is dead sexy to me. Like...just enough body hair and muscles while still seeming unmodel like.

Levine is a nice piece of eye candy. What can I say? I like my men with ink. And their sound is pretty good, but I can't STAND his vocals. As for the video, I made this comment on Facebook the other night. I find it odd how people are commenting on how creepy the portrayal of stalking is in what is really a dramatized work of fiction, especially when it comes from the same groups who were all over Twilight and Edward "I'm going to watch you sleep because I love you" Cullen. Or were non-vocal about the latter and 50 Shades. So much for my theory that stalking is A-OK if done by a hot guy.

Who said it had to be romantic? I'm not going to pretend a love story was depicted here. (Though it was arguably better than Twilight, 50 Shades, or even Romeo & Juliet.) I just don't buy into the criticism that the video "glorifies stalking." The guy depicted was pretty damn psychotic. Who's glorifying him here? I honestly heard more people throwing fits over how the video glorified stalking and violence than I did people who swooned. Actually, I don't remember seeing ANYONE swoon over him. Honestly, it was well done for what it was IMHO. And I think the criticism is largely part of the mentality that our entertainment is no longer allowed to shock or offend. Hell, I give kudos to the group for putting out something like this. It's a fucking music video, not an endorsement to go out and stalk your crush so you can fuck in a puddle of fake blood.

I need a sarcasm font. I found it offensive. Women are depicted as literally nothing but a piece of meat through the pictures he hangs next to the slabs of meat hanging. I'm not sure how anyone who doesn't hate women could find anything likable about this.
