They do a lot with submissive men. Maybe your question would better be answered by some research on your own. Many BDSM relationships vary greatly because they are tailor made for the individuals involved. By researching on your own, you can read about, and decide if what you are reading appeals to you or not. No one here is going to be able to answer your question simply because your question is too general.

There may be some dominant women here that can point you to some reading material or articles.

Honey, you are listed as a (bisexual) transsubmissive, yet in your profile you say you are a bi male switch. You may want to edit your profile settings to switch instead of submissive.

A Mistress is a female Master. A Master *traditionally* owns a slave or a submissive.
All Masters and Mistresses are Dominants. All Dominants, however, are not Masters or Mistresses.

There seems to be more of a distinction with Doms (male Dominants) needing to be seen as experienced before they can get taken seriously as a Master.
With Dommes/FemDoms (female Dominants), however, there doesn't appear to be much of a distinction, except for individual preference of honorifics. There are Dommes who do not want to be addressed as Mistress or even Ma'am (short for Madame). I personally will not let a submissive call me Mistress unless I am HIS Mistress and I have collared him as my own submissive. Other Dommes insist upon being called "Mistress" or "Goddess" or "Superior" right off the bat by practically any s-type (submissive, slave).

I hope this has shed some light on this matter for you.

When can a post be labeled trolling?

When the poster lives under a bridge.
