thishereboi -> Who knew it was so easy to be the best (10/5/2014 7:54:00 AM)

I often see shirts and mugs like this and often wondered just what made them the best....well now my question has been answered. Apparently all you have to do is pull out your wallet and pass a few buck to the folks on the left. At least according to the email I just got that said...

If you've ever wanted a mug that says WORLD'S GREATEST DAD/MOM/GRANDPARENT/KID, it's time for you to earn it.

Chip in $10 or what you can today, and you'll be automatically entered to take your whole family out to New York to meet with President Obama. When you get back home, you can look at that mug and think, yes, I am the world's best.

Gotta love a political party that is willing to pimp out the POTUS to make a few bucks.

As compared to a political cult which won't hesitate to wreck the country to get elected?

It just goes to show some of you idiots will believe anything. [8|] (according to the email I just got)

You get some sort of spam email and in your glee to show how very nonpartisan you are, you claim it as fact. Adding a sneaky get out clause that anyone can see through (according to another email I just got)

Next you will be telling people Obama is a Muslim or Michelle was waving the Chinese flag around.

I'd like to learn more before I comment, and I'm striking out at Snopes and Google.

Who sent you the email?

Is it possible to post the complete text and/or provide a link?

You obviously don't understand sarcasm if you honestly think I believe sending money into any political party will make be the best anything. But to be honest I don't expect much else from you lately. Not sure what the rest of your post was supposed to mean. Maybe next time you should wait until your head clears before you post.

I was looking at the official rules in the link provided by THB, and it says:

quote:

Prizes. One (1) winner will receive the following prize package (the "Trip"):
Round-trip coach-class airplane tickets for winner and up to three guests from the major airport closest to the winner's address within the fifty United States, Puerto Rico or the District of Columbia to Garden City, NY ("Destination"), including ground transportation to and from the airport at the Destination;

Two (2) nights accommodations for winner and winner's guests at a hotel to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion;

The opportunity for winner and winner’s guests to attend a DNC event in Garden City, NY on October 16, 2014

So, the winner gets an opportunity to attend a DNC event where they might get to "meet" Obama, but perhaps in the context of being in a receiving line and only shaking hands. It's not like they'd get the opportunity to sit down and have a nice, leisurely chat about national or world affairs.

Spotting then exploiting a new way of making a profit in an open market. What can you expect from communists like the Democrats?

DaNewAgeViking -> RE: Who knew it was so easy to be the best (10/6/2014 12:54:27 PM)

Let's see... Innovative marketing, developing an untapped resource, creative initiative, populist appeal, value received for value paid... Yep, commies, the lot of them.

When done and touted by the democrats, it is innovative, creative, appealing. If done by the republicans, you would describe it as crude or crass, greedy, red neck.[8|]
