I used to work for a company involved with check security, and had a chance to tour the FBI's bad check museum in Washington.

A couple of the items:
A check drawn on the "Left Bank of the Mississippi", signed by U.R. Stuck

A hand drawn bond, complete with all the intricate engraving that usually goes on a bond, which is easily worth much more as a work of art than the value of the bond.

it really suprises you sometimes the length people will go to just to pass something off that is fake. even themselves.

hmmm... oakfrost's post makes me wonder at what kind of people are being hired by businesses and accepting things like this.
