Or... do others agree that the font they have switched to in collarchat makes the site hard to read?

The font hasn't changed for me. Did you screw with your browser settings?

No change here either.

A few months ago however, during the transitions in late Spring, the font changed in my profile text on the other side. My JE font stayed the same, but I lost my line spacing ending [Return] codes and that text all runs together in Quick View mode. When viewing the Full Profile, my earlier JE is restored to its original format. Perplexing, to say the least.

Font hasn't changed for me either, though I'm having trouble reading some of the threads lately

No font change for me, Butch. I recommend checking your browser settings. I know you probably don't have them memorized or anything but there's a section where you can change default text and (more likely) choose to over-ride the website's coded font.

Good luck,

Michael

Seems unanimous, it is just you.

Either you accidentally tweaked a browser setting or something did it for you.

Well cleared history and cookies and the same... This is the only site with the small font... Perhaps it has something to do with the Chrome browser... I'll try explorer and see what happens there

I use Chrome, nothing has changed for me and I don't have any problems with this site or any other sites.

I use Chrome and never saw a change in font. Are you certain something else isn't monkeying with your browser?

I use Firefox, and for me, too, the font has gotten smaller. And yes, only in this site.

Check your settings.

I just checked mine and it forces the browser to reset or use my own settings for browser windows.
Maybe at some point the font or size changed and your settings allow the browser to follow the site/previous settings.
Short of something interfering with your browser (aka malware), that is probably the problem.

HTML code rarely specifies font. Check what your default font is in your web browser. And when it does, a web browser just goes for a close fit which often doesn't.

Also. Ctrl + or Ctrl - will change the displayed font size in a web browser.

Geeky fact moment complete...

That is the first thing I checked...same specs as always and again it is only THIS site... if it were in settings it would be the same for all sites... oh well I'm sure i will get excellent tech support from CM as usual

How is Tor functioning lately? Earlier it made headlines because one part got shut down and there were headlines about its anonymity being cracked. The technical details were beyond me on the anonymity crack, but it sounded serious.

It's based on FF26 with elements of a P2P secure network embedded within it.

It seems to work here where certain sites are blocked by a Europe-wide court order.
I can use it just as if it wasn't blocked.
I use it for torrent sites rather than use a separate VPN.

Not necessarily.
If your settings were to reflect allowing the site to use it's local settings, those (smaller font) settings would be remembered between site visits and whatever they were would only be for that specific site and that site alone - not all sites.
