Is there a way for me to find where local-ish munches are happening? I'd love to get out and meet others, strike up friend ships (or at least make myself more known), and just learn a little from those who've had more experience.

Yes, Google "bdsm munch" and your location. They're everywhere. Alternately, you can search on your location over on Fetlife, and you'll likely come across groups in your area.

Hrm... seems the closest munches are to be found in Portland and the Eugene area... Damn, that'd be a long trip right now, but for now I can keep tabs on what's been going on, even if it's just vaguely.

Try also using Fetlife.com for searching for local Munches. I started a Munch where I live using Fetlife and it's been a great asset.

That's a cool little link too. The St. Pete Munch is located in there. I didn't put it there but I am glad it is in there.

Check out MAsT for a local group, attend the meeting, learn about your area.

You are in a town of 20,000. Might want to try Medford, Oregon (pop 208,545) which is 96 miles away and they have a few things going on.

Also, Albany has a munch.
