I am tired, sleepy and exhausted. Insomnia has me in its clutches. Meanwhile, Mom is gone to see my uncle. She might not come back for another day or two. She is not feeling too good herself (nasty crud). This mess has been going on for over a month. She must get over it before she gets her flu shot. I 'omitted' that I was recovering from the same shit (still got a cough though). My pyromaniac self wants to play with matches...well at least get the burn piles ready for a wiener roast. Was getting sticks off of the ground and of course, I fucked up my back now. Can't wait til Halloween for the injections. For the bacon lovers, there is now cream cheese with bacon in it. I might not share it with Mom... I would like to thank the FDA for making tramadol a controlled substance. Bloody arsed contracts with doctors and some of them refuse to write a script for it...[sm=yeahright.gif] Not good for fibromyalgia patients... I feel an ice cream raid coming on...

If what you folks are suffering with is what we had last winter, it took fully six weeks to get over it. And the cough may have still lingered beyond that. It wasn't the flu as I always get the shot plus it lacked the fever component of the flu. Condolences for both of you. Ice cream won't help, but it never hurts! What flavor?

Just blowing off steam...I was trying to avoid the rum Mom hides in the pantry (did not touch it...I don't like Captain Morgan).
