I've been running with the Thunder
All my dreams are torn asunder
Ripped apart by a heart that seemed so warm

I've got all the world to plunder
But I'm not getting any younger
Lost like jetsam tossed in the eye of the storm

Lightning flash that pangs my hunger
Phoenix rise again and wonder
Why the deluge can't wash away the pain

So I keep running with the Thunder
Can't escape the spell I'm under
Lost in the roaring tumult of the rain
