So how is everybody feeling?

Anyone feeling better about either party right now?

Anyone feeling/or expecting any major changes in their states?

I know it already said it before but after this past Election, my decision to become Independent of all political parties become that much easier. I've been a registered Democrat for year's but I am tired of Democrats not taking anything but the Presidential elections serious. I'm not quite sure why Democrats always sit on their hands during Mid-Term elections but enough. Especially here in Florida. Democrats here only come out when the Presidents race is on the line. Otherwise, any other elections, Democrats just sit around and blow bubbles in the air. Republicans once again pulled off a massive landslide victory, just like back in 2010. So, I am certainly done with Democrats but that certainly doesn't mean I am going to switch to being a Republican. I just don't agree with most Conservatives. However, I give Republicans credit for winning the election. If one thing can be said about Republicans, they are far better organized than Democrats are. Since most Republicans pretty much all think alike, they easily flock in line and know who they are voting for. Democrats need to bring together different groups of people, because Democrats are far more diverse. There should be unity in diversity but not just once every 4 years. But every elections. O well, I was a Independent when I first started to vote 8 years ago and that's what I am returning to again. I would rather vote for the person and not some party label. That requires actuality researching the issues and the people running. Not just thinking in black and white thinking. Voting for a person just because a "D" or an "R" is next to their name. There are many shades of grey and other people would could make a difference in the local, state and national elections.

Are we EVER going to have a REAL viable 3rd party in the United States?
I would like to see a viable 3rd party that could win in my lifetime.

Then start voting for one. If you cast your vote for a politician that you KNOW is working against your interests because of fear then you are deservedly enslaved.

for the most part they all are working against your interest. patriot act comes to mind. not deservedly however, following the enslavers rules or not following them lands you in the same place either way.

whats the point in voting?

they can simply hack the electronic boxes and tip the vote anyway they want. was proven as fast as 10 seconds is all it takes. (and some people take their politicians and politics so seriously!)

My version?

Sure:

"Won't Get Fooled Again"

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
No, no!

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
Though I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do ya?

There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
is now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution

Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

of course everyone gets to wear a "I VOTED" button!
