Language, and more importantly, how we communicate in this medium is the end all and be all. If I had a choice, aside from RS's reading list, I'd have D's read some of the great stuff to get a handle on not only communication, but self perception and understanding who they really are before they take on the responsibility (providing that is the real agenda) of another life. However, I am a bit of dork and my recommended reading list wouldn't be well received by most.
